5e Darkness - Devil's Sight Dynamic Lighting issue

Alright, I have a complicated issue that I can't find an easy answer to.  In our 5e game, our warlock has the Darkness spell. Normally, this would be easy. Place the 15ft radius sphere of darkness in the dynamic lighting area, and blind anyone within it. However, the warlock has Devil's Sight, meaning they should be able to see normally through the darkness. I haven't figured out how to do this cleanly. Currently, I make the sphere in the dynamic lighting layer, but the Warlock can't see out of it when they should be able to. I wonder if there's a way to make either a one-way line of sight blocker, like a one-way mirror, or to have one player ignore the line of sight blocker entirely. Thanks! EDIT: The only other way I can think of doing this is to have a tranclucent sphere to mark the darkness, but then the rest of the players would be able to see the monsters within, which defeats the point of the darkness.

Normally, it's impossible to allow one character to ignore darkness. But with the set up you have described, I would suggest a personal  Light Crumb  that is only under their control, placed outside the field of effect.
