Ch. 70: A Fight in the Upper Bastion, Something in a Chimney, Dwarven Ghouls and More Dwarven Ghouls!

Each ballista is equipped with five bolts.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "The classics. Good thing, too. Dungeon Master (GM): yes you can see the outside where the arrow slits are but nothing of interest, though the 2 in the south west part of the room are in darkness outside the arrowslits avery is by a door oh the slit in the south east also is in darkness but the other four you can see out and sunlight streams in, especially the north two   Elizabeth K.: Does nightvision help with that darkness?   Dungeon Master (GM): yes anyone want to try the door by Avery?   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Guess we check the door, Avery, If you would move a bit?"   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "Right. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 fire damage. A flammable object hit by this spell ignites if it isn't being worn or carried. At Higher Levels: This spell's damage increases by 1d10 when you reach 5th level (2d10), 11th level (3d10), and 17th level (4d10). 5 Fire   Sirus: roll extra d10   ROLO: rolling 2d10( 2 + 2 ) = 4   Sirus: 9 fire damage. Can I jump over the prone ghoul to run to Roqar's location?   Dungeon Master (GM): Rolo's Fire bolt cantrip is fixed for 2d10 damage now yes you can   ROLO: ty   Elizabeth K.: Thunder Step Conjuration 3 Casting Time:  1 action Range:  90 feet Components:  V Duration:  Instantaneous Dia Xiloscient, teleports herself to an unoccupied space she can see within range. Immediately after she disappears, a thunderous boom sounds, and each creature within 10 feet of the space she left must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 3d10 thunder damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The thunder can be heard from up to 300 feet away. You can bring along objects as long as their weight doesn’t exceed what you can carry. You can also teleport one willing creature of your size or smaller who is carrying gear up to its carrying capacity. The creature must be within 5 feet of you when you cast this spell, and there must be an unoccupied space within 5 feet of your destination space for the creature to appear in; otherwise, the creature is left behind. A minimum of 3 rays can be cast. Marcuria , it's now your turn!   Sirus: Time to angerey   Marcuria Violezi: Rage Marcuria Violezi Class: Barbarian In battle, you fight with primal ferocity. On your turn, you can enter a rage as a bonus action. While raging, you gain the following benefits if you aren’t wearing heavy armor: -You have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws. -When you make a melee weapon attack using Strength, you gain a bonus to the damage roll that increases as you gain levels as a barbarian, as shown in the Rage Damage column of the Barbarian table. -You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. If you are able to cast spells, you can’t cast them or concentrate on them while raging. Your rage lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious or if your turn ends and you haven’t attacked a hostile creature since your last turn or taken damage since then. You can also end your rage on your turn as a bonus action. Once you have raged the number of times shown for your barbarian level in the Rages column of the Barbarian table, you must finish a long rest before you can rage again.   Form Of The Beast Marcuria Violezi Class: Path of the Beast When you enter your rage, you can transform, revealing the bestial power within you. Until the rage ends, you manifest a an aspect of your inner beast. Any weapons manifested count as simple melee weapon for you, and you add your Strength modifier to the attack and damage rolls when you attack with it, as normal. You choose the form of your manifestation each time you rage: Bite. Your mouth transforms into a bestial muzzle or great mandibles (your choice). It deals 1d8 piercing damage on a hit. Once on each of your turns when you damage a creature with this bite, you regain a number of hit points equal to twice your proficiency bonus. Carapace. Your skin hardens into tough hide or chitin. Your hit point maximum and current hit points increase by your barbarian level plus your consitution modifier. In addition, you have a +2 bonus to your Armor Class. Claws. Each of your hands transforms into a claw, which you can use as a weapon if it's empty. It is a light weapon that deals 1d6 slashing damage on a hit. It counts as a held weapon for the purposes of two-weapon fighting. Once on each of your turns when you attack with a claw using the Attack action, you can make one additional claw attack as part of the same action. Tail. You grow a lashing, spiny tail. It is a heavy weapon which deals 1d10 piercing damage on a hit and has the reach property. If a creature you can see within 10 feet of you hits you with an attack roll, you can use your reaction to swipe your tail and roll a d10, applying a bonus to your AC equal to the number rolled, potentially causing the attack to miss you. Wings. A set of wings sprout from your back. You gain flying speed equal to your walking speed.
Tail Marcuria Violezi Feat: Form of the Beast You grow a lashing, spiny tail. It is a heavy weapon which deals 1d10 piercing damage on a hit and has the reach property.
