I'm a new player looking for PC's and a DM to learn together and have a fun experience trying something new. I'd like to make this weekly on Sundays. I'd like to keep this to probably 3-4 players. I'm thinking of probably starting in Faerun and little to no homebrewing although this can change depending on what the DM wants to do. I don't expect anyone to have any experience playing but if the DM or a PC is experienced and patient enough to help out us new people that might be a big help in making sure we're not learning incorrectly. If you are an experienced DM and interested in teaching I don't mind paying a small fee and would look for players willing to do the same. PC's and DM need to be 18+, willing to learn, roleplay and above all be courteous and encouraging of the others at the table. If DnD 5e sounds like something you might be into then let's talk!
Hi there! I'm also a new player looking to properly get started with playing d&d and so am interested in discussing making a group in more detail!

I'm a very experienced DM with regards to D&D 5E, but I'm really looking to play as a PC. I don't get to actually play much because I'm always running games for friends and family. I've run Lost Mines of Phandelver, Hoard of the Dragon Queen, Curse of Strahd, and a couple from the Yawning Portal in their entirety as well as countless one-shots. I'm very familiar with the rules as well as many of the pitfalls that hang new players. I'm patient and always willing to teach people new to the game... it is my passion. Anyhoo - I'm on Eastern Standard Time and fairly flexible evenings and weekends and I've been looking for a game. As a PC, I'm willing to play whatever class the group needs. I'm an old school player, so you won't get any crazy requests for me to play outlandish characters. I feel no need to hog the spotlight and I think the game works works better when the team comes first. If any of this sounds like it'll work for you, I'd be happy to talk more about it. Let me know.  Oh! And there will be no charge from me... I'm happy to help out.
I am moderately experienced DM who has introduced a lot of people to the game.   If you are still looking for a DM, I’m happy to have a conversation.   However Sunday’s do not work for me Monday or Thursday nights are the times I could commit to. I’m EST, let me know if you want to talk more.  I would ask for a small fee just to make sure everyone is committed, we can discuss this as well.
I'm not new to dnd, but I'm still learning all the rules of 5e. If you have room for another PC I'm up for joining. I'm available Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4pm-9pm CDT. Let me know if have a spot for another player.
