But only in one specific campaign, one I've been participating in for around 6 years.  Others work fine.  But like the title says, if I try to change anything in this one character sheet (write a word, backspace over something, etc) it hard locks and I have to close Roll20 and reload it. Any ideas?

I've seen this happen in the past with the Lastpass browser extension as well as FF when Auto form fill is enabled. Have you tried using both Chrome and FF with no extensions?  Same issues?

To answer your questions: It is Pathfinder, and it is a caster with a bunch of spells. The issue is with Firefox.  It started happening maybe a few months ago.  The only extensions I have installed are Adblock and Microsoft Rewards.  Chrome works fine.  I'll look and see if I can turn off auto form fill and see if that changes anything.

Interesting.  After writing the above, I turned off "autofill addresses" in Firefox and now my sheet doesn't freeze.  Thanks for your help.

If the sheet starts giving more trouble with that option turned off, then you might limit the spells on the sheet to those most used.  Each spell entry spawns an incredible amount of attributes.

Good to hear, and Krynic's advice is spot on concerning the number of spells.  Best to only keep your most used spells "on-sheet" and learn to drag and drop from the compendium as needed, as well as deleting them off the sheet if no longer needed.  It's a pain, but your sheet and possibly game should be a little "snappier".
