Quest Description Miners working near Cathal's Doom Mine in hopes of finding a fresh vein of ore have struck upon an especially unusual find within the mine: an ancient dwarven vault! Their excited letters back to town promised untold wealth, but now nobody has heard from them in some time. Concerned that perhaps they dug too deep, the Miner's Association is offering a reward of a masterwork martial weapon, masterwork set of light or medium armor, and 100 gold pieces to each brave soul who ventures out into the wilderness and brings back news of what happened to the expedition. If you don’t like dwarves then this definitely isn't the quest for you. Requirements This isn’t a dwarf only quest. However they will be prioritized over others. Mounts aren’t required. I'm willing to give it a try, but I don't currently have a Dwarf Character. Here's what I do have: Name Character Name Level/Race/Class/Subclass  Party role PP/SS Got mount? Eric Frank McStank Level 3 Hill Dwarf Janisarry Fighter  Tank 12/+2(Prof) No Soap Aelfwar Ardan Half Elf Fighter 1/Wizard 1 Skirmisher, Archer, Locks & Traps 13/+1 (not prof.) No

No Just FYI, you’re allowed to create up to five characters. A single character can only be signed up to one adventure at a time, so this lets you have a few irons in the fire   Also, it’s worth noting that multiclassing is strictly monitored in this campaign (see Getting Started). You’re fine to play a fighter wizard, but single level dips are not permitted, so you’ll need to commit to multiple levels of each
Ok thanks for that information, the limitations on multiclassing weren't entirely clear, but that's ok because I wanted this character to actually take a few levels of each anyway. I wouldn't be opposed to creating a dwarf character for the purposes of this adventure! I will ask Chris to give me another character sheet to work with and will get back to you!
Signing up Glaurung the Golden.  Mountain Dwarf Sorceror (Gold Dragon Draconic Ancestry).   Level 2

Is this a bunch of dwarves and a halfling “burglar”…?
SoapBar said: Is this a bunch of dwarves and a halfling “burglar”…? That depends. Are you still bringing the halfling?
It’s up to you… I can bring a dwarf (Tordak) or an ex-dwarf (Borin) if you’d rather be dwarfist about it…

Reginald T. Tealeaf reporting for duty Guv!
So guys. What times and days are y’all available at?
I'm in the AEST time zone.   Monday to Thursday evenings generally work for me.   As does early am on Saturday mornings.   I have a week of leave sometime in September which would allow more flexibility then.
I’m in the CST Time Zone. Early morning for me are probably gonna match up with Afternoons for you.
Best way to see availability would be to check my calendar. It's limited in August due to my being in the US, but will open up considerably in September (which should already reflect the correct times and availability).

I could do the Augest 12th, 17th or 24th time slot (5-9am AEST) which would probably be the evening before those dates for most of the rest.of the timezones. 22nd or 23rd of Sept would also work, especially if we can push back the start time by 1 of 2 hours.
I'm generally pretty flexible - especially with decent notice to plan. 23/24 August a little trickier as I've got a project going live that I'll need to monitor - not impossible but I'd rather avoid if I can
So 12th or 17th?  @Eric G and Sam L.  What times work for you?
12th or 17th (5-9am AEST) is 11th or 16th (8pm-12am UK/ 3-7pm Eastern/ 2-6pm Central/ 12-5pm Pacific) I can make either of those work
I don’t mind AEST Timezone at present I can make anything work
@Eric G.  12th of August (11th for you)  does that work?
Yeah but it will depend on the time.
Not gonna be able to make the slot that's 2pm my time in the 11th. But I can make the slot that's 12am my time on the 12th.
That woudl be 3pm to 7pm AEST on the 12th.   I can make that work.  @Sam L and @ Soapbar    Does that work?
It's a 6am start for me but I can make that work if we've got the numbers...  More importantly, can Chris do that?
It's listed as available in Chris' calendar so hopefully yes.   Sounds like Sam L can do just about any time.   That just means we need one more player (or 2?)   what is the minimum/max number we need for a session?
I can do any of those times next week. Did I see you say we get two talents at level 2?
yes, if you go to the player creation thread in this forum it's referenced there.

It is presently available. I had to close off the daytime slot, as my wife reminded me that I'd promised to spend the day downtime in Seattle playing tourist that day. We'll be back well ahead of a 10pm PST start, though.
Hey giuys. For an ingame date I was thinking the 1st Uklar (The Rotting) however if anyone needs that time changed so they can join please let me know.

By chance does Larry worship Oghma?
Maaaaybe. Also I forgot I changed him to a Lotusden halfling rather than stout
I'm easy with any start date, the sooner the better, but if we need to push it back to sync in game calendars that's fine.

In terms of Glaurung's role he can stand in as a backup melee and negotiate as the party face (+6 persuasion and deception) BTW,   was the reward a single masterwork weapons and a single masterwork armour for the group or does each individual get one ro the other?
Reggie has a mount - Chalky (Riding Horse)

So I just realised that I'll be available for this session time, do you guys have room for 1 more? I can bring  Isaa, lvl 4 Halfling Open Hand Monk or Burglekutt, lvl 4 Gnome Wizard (Issa is currently signed in to fest-evil but he's interchangable with Burglekutt)

A wizard would be good to round out the party.
