Your Availability / Scheduling for BFRPG dungeon exploring in a strange world? (Read Thread from the Top to get the idea. 1 player minimum to book a game session)

This thread is for posting your player availability of days-times to play, Scheduling the Date & Time for the next game session on here, and Requesting sessions if you want to ask me (the GM) to run a game at another day and time. Please post your usual days-times you would be looking to play a 2-4 hour session of a BFRPG dungeon game like this. Reply in this thread. Read my posts for game proposals, & game announcements confirming each session. Key Information about when & how this campaign works (for now) -- this BFRPG game is open to explore dungeons inside a strange world. The minimum number of players required is ONE. If one person wants to Play (you), and we schedule and agree on a gaming time that you are personally committed and dependable to show up and meet requirements posted in other threads or that we discuss in set-up time, then we can play the dungeons! You the player, and me the GM, must agree on a single date & time for a game session lasting 2 to 4 hours (probably 3 hours). At that point, the game will be open for additional players to join the session & expand the adventuring party. We will post and confirm agreed-upon game session dates here in this thread & at that point the session is offered to other players to RSVP, add it on your calendar, or just show up and join game. The maximum number of players is currently unlimited (probably about 6-10 max). If you want to recruit a party, that's ok. If you want to play solo, that's ok too. If you want to get yourself attending and join whoever shows up, that's perfect! This is what I intend. I can GM the dungeon maps either way. Be sure to read the other Sticky and introductory threads in the campaign's forum.

Anyone want to play this on Friday August 1 (evening to night in USA time), or Saturday August 2 (anytime, your request)? TIME for this will be posted with time-zone translations on the front page of this campaign. Central USA TIME will be approximately 6PM-??? on Friday August 1st, 2014 , coinciding with the BFRPG weekly meet-ups. Also it's approximately the time of this message posting, if you want to look at that. Saturday August 2nd, 2014, TIME is open for your requests. Right now I'm waiting to see who wants to play & what times you might want to play on the Saturday game? If you can't make Friday night (for example if you live in parts of Europe and the hour is too late), you can post and ask for a convenient time for you on Saturday and I will answer if I can GM that time. This is meant to be like an "infinite one-off" or variation of an "open table" game. It's composed of dungeon crawling, and the roleplay comes primarily from the Players interacting with each other and the dungeon. It is expected that you can play a complete session in one sitting, and optionally either conclude the story, or plan to continue the adventure on another date. Respond in the thread if you want to plan to join and play on the proposed dates

Fri is prob my first choice. Sat is possible though maybe not as often.

No problem Sean. Add that Friday August 1st one on your calendar/plans, because I am shooting for that. I do need to dialog with you about the voice and text communications for this, so I'm going to meet with you and ask about the options before we finalize it. It's not going to be Weekly or regular schedule, more of an ongoing series of proposed dates & come when you can (but letting the GM know ahead of time if you are committed to coming to one). I need at least one player to firmly commit to a date & a few parameters for the game, and after that the game is ON and anyone else can join subsequently and tag along. Followup people after the 1st can RSVP or not. Either way you'll be the initial PC confirming that session, once we lock agreement and confirm the date. Thanks for Joining the group. I should be open for August first as well, preferably sometime around 7 EST, but I'm flexible.

I won't be able to play on any Fridays. I may be able to play certain Saturdays. I can't say for sure currently.

So far Jeffrey s. and Graysant are the 2 who have said they want to play this Friday. Others seem to be "maybe" (and that's ok too).EDIT: Sean D said he will play. Anyone who wants to play on this Friday August 1, or on Saturday August 2, speak up and say something here -- or just show up! The BFRPG character sheets might not be ready yet, or they might be hot off the presses. If the sheets aren't ready we will make really simple basic character notes on the Bio tab of your character journal.

hello, just to let you know: friday i'm unavailable after 5:30pm PST (afternoon is ok), and saturday afternoon is no good (I'll prob be back around 7pm PST). Sean, that's great, join us Friday. Graysant, I have put a Token and Character journal for you in the game. We can make up the character at the start of the game session Friday. Or meet up sooner in the room to work on it, if you want. Jeff H, no problem. I don't know about Saturday yet as not a single player has firmly committed to any times on Saturday. You can check online when you get free on Saturday and see if I am on. It is also currently still available to book a session when One player is ready to commit to a time.

The GM speaks. "Explore dungeons inside a strange world," he says. We played a delve into my BFRPG dungeons tonight (the first session of this campaign). 5 players or so attended. It was fun. They killed mole rats, kobolds, large wolfy beast, crab spiders, and more. They found some secret hidden caches, and removed traps (sprung some too). They found 2 Rings of Fire Resistance. XP was awarded to the attendees. We plan to play again on Saturday around the same times (evening in the USA). If anyone wants to join, click the link that I posted in the thread or contact me in Roll20. People who have said they can play on Saturday, so far, include: Jeffrey S (half orc fighter) Ashley D (elf cleric) Kite (human thief) -- I think he said he can play. Others said maybe. The dungeons are calling to more Players. The group who plays does not have to remain constantly the same. New people can enter and play. I need at least 1 player who commits to a game date & time that we dialog and agree and confirm. Once there is a Player signed up to confirm and the session is booked by me, the GM, then that game session becomes open for other Players to RSVP and join if they want.

I'll rewrite the list with Ernie as a "maybe" for Monday, and won't expect Jeffery or Ashley for that Monday session. @Monday, I doublechecked the chatroom and Bob said YES for Monday, so he'll be the anchor of the game who is committed to the time. Graysant is also to be expected. Anyone else is welcome to join them Monday. @ Ron H, can you do the upcoming Monday session? We are starting at 5PM Central USA time. Not sure of your time zone. If you can come at the starting time, or enter late, that is fine. Gold im open tommorow nearly all day , i have just a character creation session with my players scheduled at 4pm , but i dont think theres anyone that needs me , at least noone responded to it anyway LOL Out of curiosity , which edition are you using of the core rules ? And what if any of the supplements?

@ Ron H scheduling, all good. Look for me in Skype & Roll20 on Sunday Night (probably several hours after your 4pm session... I'll be available later after dinner this Sunday, more like 10PM as mentioned). We can finalize your character then (you can work on it in advance on your own if you like). We can also do a short dungeon adventure solo at that time, for practice and introductory to the game. @ Ron H Monday, ok, sounds good. Join the game when you are ready that day. @ Ron H questions about the game: We are using BFRPG Core Rules (2nd Edition) & no supplements. 4 core races, 4 core classes, with any narrative variations from your imagination that you can describe convincingly. Virtually no supplements, although I employ a few optional rules that are discussed in supplements, such as Free Casting for Magic Users, and Maximum HP at 1st and 2nd level. All of my non-Core rules are designed to simplify gameplay; no optional rules that complicate or slow gameplay, for this campaign. Staying basic & theater of the mind. Importantly, I will allow NARRATIVE exceptions on a case-by-case basis (check with me, the GM), but not mechanical rules from supplements. For example you can be a Half-Orc (works exactly like a human for mechanics, only reskinned as a half orc for narration purposes ---- you just say "I am a half orc" and "I have green skin" and "I grunt" but you don't get any special orcish bonus or penalty). We are not using mechanics from the Supplement for Half-races, to complete this example. We are heavily employing imagination, narration, and description, so plan to be verbally creative about your character, such as describing how you look.

I will be there Monday night

Today is a game day. Look at the game time on the Campaign details page. We plan to start at 5:00 PM Central USA (this is one hour earlier than the time we'd been starting on other days last week). I may call for a Dinner Break during today's session. We may play for a couple hours, maybe 3 hours, and then take 30-45 minute break if anyone wants to prepare food, and then resume and play some more. Usually I get so into the game that I forget to eat dinner until it's quite late. If we are going to play for a fairly long session today, I will try to remember to break for eating. Playing Again on Friday, so, there's 2 opportunities this week to join us and "Explore dungeons inside a strange world"

Thanks for playing. Your dwarf is in a pretty interesting role-playing and advancement spot in the dungeons, on the doorstep of a dwarven enclave. Would you be able to play again on Monday August 18? It would be afternoon in USA Central / Chicago time, start about 3PM here -- whatever time that is for your time zone can be converted online or look on the campaign details page as I have set it for this now. If you agree that your dwarf is reasonably committed for the Monday session, I'll book it and let the session be open to any other players (new or returning) who want to go into a Dwarf enclave with Casey's PC and some mini-dragons escorting you.

I thoroughly enjoyed Gold's session great teacher and DM also casey and sergay GG would love to play again with you guys. I work during the week so it's unlikely I'd be on however not outside the realms of possibility if the game was early enough. However Friday's and Saturdays i have no issue with time so I'd be free to play at any time. If anyone has a game on those days I'd love to join in

I went to the night club after the game, saw a band, and back already, believe it or not. Ears are ringing. Good timing, I arrived as they took the stage, by proceeding directly there after we ended the session. We're on for Monday continuation at the times described. @Jack, it's no problem, you can come into the game when you can & leave when you need to. @ Ron if you see this, they are starting to explore a Dwarven section of the dungeons. Hi was wondering if anyone would be interested in gaming on Wednesday or Thursday nights around 8 or 9 pm pst?

I'm online now (it's approximately the Wednesday time you mentioned) so if you see this, pop into the game room and we can establish your character creation. I could set up a session for next Wednesday Aug 27, 10pm or 11pm Central USA time (that would be 8pm or 9pm pst, like Mystiq requested). If you want to commit your character for the session, I'll book it & announce it as open for others to join -- so say if you agree, and I'll write back to confirm it's booked & advertise it as open table night. Most likely some other new or returning players would join up. If no one joins, you can still play in the introduction going solo.
