Dice Rolling Format: How to roll variable amounts of dice?

I've tried the wiki but I can't work it out :( Say I need to roll a 1d6 dice 1d8 times, what's the format?

I think [[[[1d8]]d6]] should work (but I’m doing this from my phone).  Unless you want to see each dice roll separately without hovering over the tooltip, which isn’t possible with the standard dice roller (you’d need an API script, a Pro subscriber feature).
