Only need 1 more now! **Session 1**-Character creation & Rules, Help with Creating Characters & discuss basic rules. We will start from ground 0. I am assuming NO experience in Playing DnD **Session 2**-Combat training- Run through how to do combat & how to use the character sheet. Combat has the most rules of the game and it's the biggest hurdle to get over other than how to use roll20.  **Session 3**-The adventure begins! From the previous 2 sessions you'll know how to do combat, how to use roll 20 and be confident in playing the game! Why Lost Mines of Phandelver? I am adjusting to a return to work schedule. I get every Wednesday to work from home. I am trying to bring more DnD into my week but I need to be sure that I have time for all my other responsibilities. I have run the module 3 times, but never have finished it. I know it fairly well, roll 20 has everything preloaded and ready to go to make it easy on me.   What you can Expect from Me I have DM'd dozens of homebrew and live by the rule of cool. I will always try to do voices but be terrible at it. You can expect me to fair, honest and on time. I am a big stickler for time... I have a quality mic and will always try to put sounds into the map. I am usually available on discord most of the day during the week to answer any questions or provide any help that I can.  Why Beginners? The bigger the community gets the better, but getting into DnD can seem nearly impossible with so many rules. Many people are afraid they will look silly or are nervous about getting something wrong and slowing people down. I previously ran a DnD club at a middle school.. I now work in IT so am comfortable assisting people and using screen sharing in discord. In short I believe I have the patience, skill, time and experience to new players. So I will. Also I find new players are less likely to go "off the rails" which helps keep my prep time low :) Sessions and Campaign Start time: Every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Central (U.S.) Break: 15 Minute Break at 9:00 p.m. Central (U.S.) Run time: 3 hours Roll20 virtual tabletop and Discord for voice Link to Game
