The Devil on the Stone - Looking for players

A new mystery has been plaguing the minds of the lord and residents in the sleepy town of Freyview as a series of gruesome murders has taken rise in recent weeks. You and your party, either through guild contract or by sheer happenstance, have been tasked with solving of this case before the supposed killer can strikes again. The Adventure is more Role Play based than combat (though it does have some) and it is encouraged that players utilize some level of thought and deduction (rolls alone wont solve everything). The adventure is designed for three 8th level players, four 7th level players or five 6th level players. I have 3 years experience as a DM, but I will admit that there is still plenty that I can learn and want to playtest this adventure with fresh eyes before I think about maybe publishing it. The Devil on the Stone is primarily played via theatre of the mind. There are some restrictions regarding character creation and they are as follows: Published source books by Wizards of the Coast only. No homebrew/ 3rd party is to be used. Players are to avoid power gaming characters. (its really not fun for a team based game) If you are bringing in an old character from a different game/ campaign that follow the above criteria, stats must be re-rolled/ redone. If you are making a new character, you may roll for stats (which I must witness) or you may use Point-buy (which does not have to be witnessed). You may not use the Artificer class. I tend to like darker world settings which can have mature themes and gruesome descriptions that are used to create an intended atmosphere; this game is intended for adults of 18+ years and up and is not suitable for children or those with weak stomachs. Of course standard courtesy rules will apply for when playing, but here's a quick refresher as a friendly reminder: No use of insults against a person's identity of any kind, this will not be tolerated and will result in an instant kick from the game. Try not to interrupt the DM when descriptions are being given or questions are being asked. in fact, just try not to be rude and constantly interrupt people. If it has been rolled, it is cannon and cannot be taken back. (only rare exceptions apply) When the DM makes a ruling, you may question it once in-game. If the ruling stays steadfast, even if I'm dead wrong, hold your opinion until there is a break outside of game. My intention is to keep the game moving, not have a legal debate and waste everyone else's time. Please place your phones on silent/ vibrate. Exceptions for emergencies. If you need a break, please, say something! (I need to pee too!) The point of D&D is to have fun and create a memorable experience as a team, that includes the DM. Remember that my goal is to create a memorable experience and not to screw you guys over. Essentially, communication is key so don't be afraid to raise any concerns or to ask questions. To apply as a character, please reply with, "Devil on the Stone: Character Application" followed by the name of your character ex. "Devil on the Stone: Character Application - Kirin West"
I'm Just going to add. I would like for players to both use Discord for voice AND video. playing off of facial expressions and gestures can add alot to the roleplaying element in addition to described actions.
