Hello to everyone. First, I'd like to apologize in advance if I didn't format the title correctly. This is my first advertisement on here. My gaming group moved to Roll20 in 2020 (for obvious reasons). And we've slowly lost players over that time period. Now we're down to 2 GM's and one Player as of this last weekend. Both GM's have multiple decades experience running, and we usually alternate for about 3 to 6 months. As it was my turn, I wanted to try a new system, and settled on BESM 4th edition, with an Anime inspired world. We were about to start when our latest lost player backed out to go join a Pathfinder in-person game. Due to my household being very full of high risk people, and one of the group being high risk, we can't really go back to that currently, at least, not to the level the other person wanted. So, enough background on our group. We're currently looking for 1-3 people who would be interested in joining the game, who can make the allotted time (Saturday Nights, 6PM to 11PM CST). Our current group is all 40+ (In Age, to clarify, we don't have 40 or more players) and have been gaming for decades (not as a group though, only a few years as a group). We're looking for age 18+ players, not because the game will be 'adult', it most decidedly won't have any overt sexual stuff in it (the characters will be teens in high school). We're just looking for adult players. The game will be heavily inspired by the following Anime's : 1) A Certain Scientific Railgun/Accelerator 2) The Irregulars at Magical High 3) My Hero Academia The amount of inspiration is based on the numeric order above, so more from CSR/CSA than MHA. Players will get some world background, and make a character using the character creation guidelines. However, power sets will be assigned randomly from a list, with players ending up with one of 20 (18 now) premade sets based on the random allocation. There will be some customization possible. One note, all the players and the GM are new to this system, so there will be some learning curve. We are trying to stretch our gaming muscles a bit. I'll send a link to this recruitment to the other players, so they can post/respond if they have time/will to do so. Please post here if you're interested, and can make a commitment to be at games regularly at the stated time. Next game would be July 24th, then 2 weeks later, and again 2 weeks later, etc. We use roll20 for characters, maps, and rolling, and WebEx for screen shares and audio during the games.
