Firstly, I want to thank everyone has been keeping up with this campaign. It's nice to know that there are people out there interesting in how it is going. I am sorry that there has been such a long delay since the last post. May, I believe was the last one. To be upfront with you, I have PTSD and Major Depression and some days I struggle to keep the posts up - some days I struggle to just get out of bed. On top of that, we had a loved one pass on which my wife and I organised the arrangements for the funeral etc that was interstate so we were away from home for a while. However, all good things come to those that wait as they saying goes and tonight we have our first game back after the hiatus! So, to catch you all up from the last post... After finding out about Dael's betrayal, the Adventurers returned to Eaden where they acquired some extra gear from the City's armoury - of course, they took the magical gear! While some were doing this, Catsi went in search of some extra help finding it the form of Gomer, a prisoner of Eaden who had been forced to fight in the arena to pay off his crime for espionage against the city. With Gomer in tow, the Party made for the Mages Guild where they were transported across the realm to Larton. Here, they met with the Lord of the town, a Gnome named Grawen Bluetip. After introducing themselves to him they spoke with the wounded Green Cloak and were told about Dael's betrayal of his men, and subsequent escape into the wilderness southwest of Larton. A town soldier who had found the Green Cloak, led them back to the area where he had located him and left them to continue their search. Here, they were beset by two large Chokers and two demons. In the battle that ensued, the party found that their victory was going to be hard won, but win they did and after a good respite, they continued on, following the fading tracks left by Dael as Lillianes transformed into her wolf form and with a high perception roll managed to find a faint trail. Heading north, they followed the winding river and at a bend they came across a couple who had made camp on the other side of the river. Making their way across river, they snuck up to the camp but finding that they were no more than mere travellers, Jett went in and spoke with them asking if by chance they had seen a man in a green cloak. They answered that the only thing they had seen was a lone but in the swampland farther north. Tonight, we pick up from here...
