custom attack on monster wont do dmg

I been making monsters for my gamma world game but...im making a tentacle attack on one but i am incapable of making it roll dmg or displaying any dmg whatsoever. Anone got a clue whats goin on?

Yet his other longsword attack works fine.

oddly i had to turn on auto roll damage to get it to do the dmg. Still dont work with it turned off though.

Are you leaving the weapon editor window open, or closing it? Are you closing the character sheet before trying the attack? It may need to be closed to fully ‘save’ the changes.  Do you have another creature with the same name? It may be trying to pull data from another sheet if they have the same name.  Have you tried deleting the attack and recreating it?

Also, putting parentheses in the name might affect some roll functions. It's best to avoid "control" characters in a name: {}[]()@#$%^&

yea took out the () in the name and that fixed it...sigh thanks guys.
