Paul - That's actually our usual start time (fairly new campaign I'm DM'ing on here, Adventures In Homebrew World AD&D house variety of 2E ). 19:00 GMT is 2PM here in Central United States. We usually play for 2 to 4 hours starting at that time you mentioned. The day varies, and your schedule/input will be taken into consideration if you become a party member. We use Skype for voice (no cam) alongside Roll20. The game currently begins with your PC solo'ing anyway, from your point of origin, so initial sessions are booked with 1 Player and me (the DM), and the other Players are welcomed to listen-in & help me run the NPC's in your solo story until the party-members meet up and convene near a particular port city on my homemade world map. The party hasn't convened yet so we are still in the solo intros phase, 1st level, at this moment. First you can sit-in and observe one of the other PC's in their current solo intros, if you wish. At that time you'll see some class and race options, and you can pitch a character concept to the DM, which we will dialog and develop the origin together and play it out from there. It's a rather... different... 2nd Edition game, you see. Only 1/3 of our gameplay is meant for combat encounters. 1/3 is travel, mystery, exploration. Perhaps most important / different / and hopefully enticing, 1/3 of the game is meant to be preserved for story progression and character development, which includes things like art & illustrations & writing, and this is where I imagine you can take special advantage since you have skills in digital graphics. The PC's get a small XP bonus for the Players' contributions in campaign ephemera (keeping a journal, doing a drawing, your choice, availability resets each session). Private Message me if it sounds like a style you can get into, and say if you want me to send you the campaign link to join and read more about it. Of course please continue finding other games too & use your thread to gather pitches. I'm proprietor of the 2E Tavern, but just one of many DM's in the group. Cheers.
