How do I create multiple tokens for the same NPC I have added to a game?

Hello one and all.  Simple question that I assume has a simple answer(and I'm just missing it....).  I have created npc character sheets for an adventure.  One of the rooms has 27 of them in it.  If I drag the 27 tokens onto the map then when combat starts they all share the same hit points (for example: NPC A takes one point of damage and now it reflects on ALL NPCs.  Anyway to avoid this other than copying the character sheet 27 times and numbering them?

If you open up the first token you pull out, make sure that the bar that represents the hit points is not linked. Then you can copy and paste that token 26 times.

Also, when you change the token and get it set up exactly how you want, the very last step always needs to be re-saving that token as the default token for the character sheet. Once a token is set up how you like, open the related character sheet to the edit page, delete the current token, and then use the selected token as the new default token. If you later update the token again and want those new updates to be saved as the default when it’s pulled out, you’ll have to re-save the default token again.

Sorry.  Where is the info to hit point bar is not linked?  In the token settings or the character settings?

Double click on the token. You should see the three bars listed on the right side, and one of them will show “hp” or “npc_hp” or some other attribute like that. You want to change that bar to be “None” instead.
