Adding Video

Hey, In my group's Star Wars RPG I wanna to have my custom Opening Crawl Play at the Beginning of our session, but I can't find any way to upload a video file. So I was just wondering does anyone know how to have a Video file play inside of Roll20. Thanks

I think that it is not possible at this time to have a video play inside roll20, you need to have a link to it somewhere else.

I can see the appeal of starting the video for everyone in the game at the same time & having it show in the Roll20 interface. Or having a video embedded on a Journal that players can re-watch at their leisure. Right now we don't have this feature.

That means the best is to upload your videos to something like http://www.YouTube.com or Vimeo, and give-out the Link to your players in a Journal or in the Chat.

But what if you want everyone to watch the video starting at the same time? That's when to use another third-party site like one of these,

Just a note, Google Hangout's YouTube plugin will also start a video for everyone. If you're using that already for your game, it should be mostly seamless to add the YouTube plugin in.

Aaron beat me to it. Another reason why Google Hangouts trumps Skype.

Ok great! yea I figure I would have do it though Youtube or another 3rd party program, just thought It would be epic to have it pop up the moment you started the game lol. Thanks again everyone!
