Sorry if this is an obvious one simply going over my head. How do I give handouts to a specfic player? I can add handouts to my sidebar but none of the players seem to be able to see them. OSX10/Lion here on he latest version of Chrome. thxs.
Open up the note you would like your players to see. You will be able to enter the name of the note, then in the box below that put in the actual note itself. Below that is a little box titled "In Player's Journals." Click on it and it should drop down a list of players you want to see the note as well as the option to have all players see it. You can even make it so only the DM can see it.
Hope that helped.
You have to click on the "edit" button of a handout and then scroll to the bottom of the edit window to find the controls of who gets to see it. Handout organisation and management are really bad.
No blame to you. You shouldn't have to open a handout's "edit" window to hand it out. No-one would think of that. You shouldn't even have to open it.
Organisation and management of handouts is awful.
