Hello! I'm Alexis, a Canuck gaming gal from Vancouver area. I'm currently looking to find a way to fill the creative void I've had since I moved a few years back and lost my group. I've been a roleplayer for over thirteen years using many players and styles from LARP to Table-top, Forums to MMOs. I've been a player and GM/Storyteller from small in person groups to huge worldwide campaigns lasting years with thousands of players. I of course enjoy the mechanical stat based fighting parts of RPGs, but the most important (and FUN) part of any game for me is the in character roleplay. I'm looking for a game that is RP heavy with a well thought up concept created by an imaginative and involved GM. I'm a writer and love when players are able to delve into a setting and weave a yarn along side the GM/ST. Whenever I create a PC I always think of her as real. Doesn't mean she's always serious, just that I take her personal story seriously. Things a GM/ST Should Know About Me: 1. I'm able to play at ANY time in any time zone as often as needed. I make my own hours and tend to be a Night Owl. 2. I don't currently own any gaming books, but may be able to change that. If there's a cheap or better yet free way to get them or to go w/o them would be a bonus. 3. I'm open to any genre as long as it has an in depth story and setting. I have most TT experience in WoD and DnD, but am a fast learner of mechanics and lore. 4. Again, I don't only play serious characters in dark and dire situations, but I do want it to be a mature group that doesn't censor things like language or content. 5. I am new to this RP format, and I currently use an android tablet, but could use a computer if I had to. I'd prefer IC interactions (between characters or NPCs) to be via written chat since that's what I'm used to, but I'm open to other ways like VOIP.
