One player cannot see the map

This is a pretty crippling bug, and is entirely unacceptable for such a thing to exist at all, but one of my players cannot see anything but a white square, we have tried:
Different browsers
Manually assigning the person to that map
Checking permissions

and nothing has worked. Between the lack of character sheets for fifth edition spheres of power and spheres of might and yet another bug that shouldn't even be possible I am beginning to think I should look into Astral.

Pretty hard to say if this is a bug.  In my experience, when something has happened like that it has always been something on the client side.  Generally, it has been one or a combination of the following:

Really low end computer/laptop
Shared internet connection with a bunch of bandwidth being taken up by other people
Processes running in the background taking up more than their share of computer resources and/or bandwidth.

Have the player that is having problems check on those sorts of things, because if something like that is the problem, then it will remain a problem regardless of the vtt you use.

This is definitely a bug. Several of my groups have been experiencing this on multiple devices, all on gaming rigs and high-end devices.
Caches have been cleared, All on Chrome browser.

But there isn't widespread reporting of this. If it's a bug, it seems to be only with certain groups or users. Which indicates that there is a breakdown somewhere, but it's more likely to be a hardware or software problem on the client end, or some Roll20 synergy issue with a client setting. I would urge folks who are actually experiencing the problem to capture a Console Log (ChromeFirefox) and file a Help Center Request, since this will get technical info into the hands of people who can look for common cause.

The fact it occured AT ALL to not just me, but to others demonstrates why I view roll20s developers as incompetent, this is a bug that should never, under any circumstances have made it out of Alpha testing. It entirely cripples one player and defeats the point of using a virtual tabletop. If it is not fixed by tuesday when my next session is planned; I am likely migrating to Astral as they seem to give a damn about their users.

Good luck! I hope you find the game solution you are looking for.

It's pretty widespread from what I've been seeing. I've also noticed that it is come and go, so not sure what the common underlying connection is.
