The party meets at the top of stairs that ominously descend into darkness. Lea and I cautiously and stealthily enter the darkness relying on our dominant vision. We are vigilant and attentive as we peer and scan for anything out of the ordinary. Coffins adorn the walls but nothing of note seems out of place with them. I spy some footsteps that enter and leave a hidden passage. They are not the footprints of many but of one. Lea progresses further and it is with sudden and rapid movement that nightmares are awoken. Three denizens of graves, repulsive ghouls with a desire for flesh leap. Current date = unknown. I maneuver myself out of the burrow and into the tomb. Bodies of ghouls and coffin lids litter the floor. I quickly cobble together a solid club from the wood and proceed further into the tomb where I can hear the sounds of humanoid dialogue and combat. The area seems to be lit by a radiant figure of majesty. I activate my lamp and move forward to introduce myself to the group. "Greetings .. Friends .. I am DK421. I believe I may be of assistance here." In the distance I see a large suit of animatronic armour assaulting a party member. I call to Rava and a ray of brilliance blasts at the creature. From a side passage several more party members rush past into the corridor. "Hold this door." "With pleasure sir." I pull out a piton and drive it into the floor preventing the door from opening. .... Further down the corridor more ghouls were assaulting the rest of the party — The warrior appears to be in need of healing so I step forward to help. The ghouls are coming from a crypt to the North so I step into the passage to prevent them coming in while the Warriors are taking care of another contingent to the South. The party soon destroy the undead horde and their master but it becomes evident that there are more villains within this complex that may be making an escape.
