Hi all, I'm an experienced GM currently in the middle of building and organising a homebrew world with the intention of streaming the campaign out over Twitch. I originally came to Roll20 a few months ago, but since then a player has had to move on, so I'm back again in search of a 4th player to complete the party. Given that this is a game intended to be run over stream, there's a few things I'm looking for; Availability and Commitment Players NEED to be available at the given time in order to have a consistent stream schedule If you can't make GMT 17.30/18.30, this isn't going to be the group for you Desire to get involved in Role Playing and making this a focus This Campaign is designed with a strong emphasise on roleplaying in mind as it's intended to be streamed It's still a fantasy game, but Characters should feel "real" in their desires and motivations Knowledge of D&D 5e I'm not looking for people who've read the PHB back to front, but a good knowledge of the core rules is important for presenting the game on stream. Desire to be involved in Co-op Worldbuilding Although much of the world and campaign has taken shape now, all players have been involved in suggesting ideas and providing inspiration for the world we're in and I expect that to continue as the game progresses. Discord/Webcam Setup We're using Roll20 for running the game, but audio & webcams are being run over Discord in order to capture the webcams for displaying on stream If your internet or audio/video quality during the stream could/will be an issue, this isn't going to be the campaign for you If the above sounds interesting to you, here is some information about the campaign and world so far; The setting is a post-apocalyptic fantasy world where an ancient war almost destroyed the world. In the millennia since the world has begun to recover, but the aftereffects of the war are everpresent and the people must overcome them to survive in this world. The Luminorn Empire has risen during the recent decades and has begun organising the people of the lands together again in an attempt to reclaim the world from the wilds. The player characters are all arriving at the Capital City for their own reasons at the beginning of the Emperors Day Festival, where fun, fame and fortune can all be won. The campaign path isn't set in stone and players will be given a lot of autonomy over the decisions they can make during the campaign. The intention is for the game to feel open and that players won't feel locked into certain decisions. If you're still reading, awesome! If you're interested and would like to hear more, please drop me a Direct Message on here with your Discord username and hash. From there we'll organise some time to have a one on one chat so we can both ask questions of each other and make sure we're happy. Once I've spoken to a few people I'll make a decision on who feels like the best fit for the group and move on from there. I look forward to hearing back from you :)
