Jeffery, Go to the campaign "Explore Dungeons in a strange world" and click JOIN GAME button . You must do this once, then it will let me assign a Character Sheet & Token on the map for you. Please do this now. Next, go back to the campaign details page and please read-skim the Threads especially the Sticky Threads with a red flag in the campaign's internal forum. It will tell you a lot which you may need/want to know. The only rule book you need is this free download (and you only need to read Chapters 1-2-3-4), <a href="http://basicfantasy.org/download.cgi/Basic-Fantasy" rel="nofollow">http://basicfantasy.org/download.cgi/Basic-Fantasy</a>... You may either create a character directly as the book says (on your own time, using 3d6 for each ability score exactly as it says in the book), or you may form your ideas & wait to actually create the character sheet in the game, with me, the Game Master. If you wait and do it in the game with me, I'll give special ability score rolls different from the book (better, slightly higher ability scores). You each have a Token set up & a Character journal (in the Join Game). You don't have to do anything. We can write up the characters at the start of the game session. If you want to make a character sooner you can meet with me in the game room now or in advance, or you can make a straight-up BFRPG character from the Basic Fantasy Core Rules book (default methods). Or wait for the game session time. Don't use the Swords & Wizardry character sheet that is on your journal right now. Just use the Bio tab to type out your character stats/details there. The main stats we need for this are Race, Class, Name, XP, HP, AC, armor, weapon, equipment, 6 Ability Scores. That's about all you need on the sheet at first, so you can just type it on the Bio tab for now. Later we will have official BFRPG character sheet to use but it is not available from the developer yet.

Friday Game time is in about 6-7 hours from now. :) Saturday game time has no players signed up yet. If anyone wants to play on Saturday, contact me on Roll20 to schedule a time to play tomorrow. The sooner we agree on a time, the better. Tell me a time & time zone that you would commit to playing, and I will respond to confirm that time and book the game session if I am able to GM at the time you request for this Saturday, or other dates in the future. If no one asks for Saturday then I will just use the day for GM prep time. It is a dungeon exploring campaign, with strange monsters, traps & treasure. It is like an open-table, pick-up game, or one-shot except it's ongoing and open for scheduling another game session when you request it. Players can come & go as you please. You can start your PC in the game on any game-session day. If you need to leave, it's fine. You can re-form the party and adventure with new groups. It will continually be in the dungeons and caverns underground. Your PC only gets Experience and treasure when you attend. If you are not in attendance, your PC will be pulled safely out of the action until you return. There is a short story behind this, which you can hear about in-game. The game requires at least one player to commit to a game date & time in dialog with me, the GM (as with our August 1 game time).
