Issues With Dynamic Lighting, Character Sheets & Charactermancer

Was just curious how many people are having issues with this VTT. For just over a month now several aspects of my game have been getting worse. UDL is impossible to use as it not only has a serious lag, but when we try to use it the screen goes complete white and when it does come back the map has exploded to a massive size that cannot be reduced and all the dynamic lighting boards do not function. Now we are having issues with character sheets (we are using the 5e OLG). The settings from "Don't Auto Roll Damage" are constantly changing to "Auto Roll Damage" even though all game settings say otherwise and the players and the GM are going in and changing them back frequently. The charactermancer has several issues going on (not letting you roll hit points, not allowing some classes to choose subclass features just to name a couple) making it very difficult to get characters done. In fact at the moment one player has his charactermancer frozen and cannot get out of it. Have done a bug report, (repeat for the dynamic lighting thing as it was not solved the first time), just want to know if it is just me getting very frustrated.

Not having any problems like that, but we can try the normal culprits. Are you using a supported browser? Do you have any extensions that might be affecting Roll20's default behavior? You can test most of the extension issues by trying to run in a private browsing window. Are you using animations? FX? those are both things that can greatly contribute to lag. Other contributors are large campaigns with hundreds of characters, or characters which have more spells than are absolutely necessary. Large maps with complicated dynamic lighting. Also, and this is less likely, but is certainly a contributor to some types of lag, turn off autofill and autocomplete in your browser settings. This sort of lag usually appears when trying to enter or change values. For the charactermancer frozen issue, that is something I see reported from time to time, and usually requires a dev to intervene. I've not had it happen in one of my games in a very long time, though. For the Damage Rolling, you could try going through this step by step. It can totally fail if you don't complete all of the steps/ Apologies if you've tried all of this already; I'm just fishing for possibilities. Go to the Campaign Settings Page Choose "Don't Auto Roll Damage" under "AUTO DAMAGE ROLL" in the Default Sheet Settings Save Load your game Go to the settings tab on the right and scroll to the bottom where you will find a button that says Apply Default Settings. Press it. Choose to update the Damage settings. Wait a minute or two for it to resolve. There is a thin easy-to-miss progress bar.

For the auto damage issue, I would suggest looking at  this thread , where others are reporting the same issue. I have posted a suggestion there, and will see what I can do to direct dev attention there.
