Player Restrictions

I'm trying to play a game with my friends online, but one of my friends keeps making blocks and lines with the tools. He also keeps spamming the chat with dice rolls. Is there a way to restrict them from using the tools? I really need help if I'm going to be able to play.

No not really. You just have to talk to your player and socially solve this issue, just like if you'd sit around a real table. There are a limited number of APIs that can kinda add restrictions to the player, but they don't cover much and you'd need Pro subscription for them: https://wiki.roll20.net/Player#API

One suggestion I have seen is to give them a specific "doodle Area" if they just can't restrain themselves, but really, Andreas has the best solution.

Alternatively, ask them if they can open up Paint or some similar program to doodle in, if you can't compromise on a doodle Area in Roll20.
Thanks for the help!
