Help with Advanced Lighting inconsistencies

I'm an assistant GM in a game and am helping the main GM set up advanced lighting on his map. I got light-blocking walls drawn in, light-blocking doors put into place that can be easily moved, daylight turned on, and all interior rooms blanketed in exploratory darkness. All this was laid out using the GM's account, which I have access to. From the GM account, everything looks great. When I hit Ctrl+L on a PC token, explored areas are gray, unexplored areas are black; everything looks exactly as it should. However, when I log into my assistant GM account, I can see the whole map, even when logged in as a player. There is no pitch darkness. Only visible gray. I can't seem to figure it out. I even revoked my own assistant GM status using the GM's account, and I can STILL see the entire map. I fear it's not just me, and that the other players will see it all too once they log in; which the GM won't even realize since everything appears correct from that account. Why is it behaving this way? I've reset and redrawn the exploratory darkness from both accounts, updated to the new dynamic lighting, and a few other things, but it always seems the same. What the heck is going on, and how do I fix it?
Here's my standard vision/lighting issues checklist. My guess is you're coming up against the quirks of #4 and #10 not using a true 'dummy account' to check vision settings.  Ctrl-L  does not give a player's view  from a token -- it provides the Line of Sight of only the token, including anything on the GM layer.  It will not give you vision from any other tokens at the same time, which is something that players may have.  The only way to check is to make sure all the tokens on the page have correct vision set up for your players, and to reset any explored areas. Make sure you are using Chrome or Firefox. Make sure you are set to only use either Updated Dynamic Lighting or Legacy Dynamic Lighting, not both. Token must have vision enabled. Token must be 'controlled' by the player who is checking vision. You should use a ' dummy account ' in order to see changes live/instantaneously when you make them as GM. There are other benefits as well (streaming, testing macros and other tricks, resetting the game URL). There needs to be a light source. Tokens always emit light from the center of the token -- in LDL it comes from a small point in the center of the image, and in UDL it comes from a circle that is some small percentage of the image size -- so if you set the map image as a light source, you'll get some funky behavior. Token and light source need to be on the correct layers. Do not use .webm animated tokens. They are currently bugged and often will not work correctly and prevent visibility. If a player cannot see, move their token.  There is a bug with UDL that prevents player vision from 'activating' until after one of their tokens is moved on a page. Make sure you don't have a Fog of War/Permanent Darkness layer on. Make sure you don't have Advanced Fog of War/Explorable Darkness blocking vision, or providing vision that you don't want a player to have. Explorable Darkness and Advanced Fog of War are saved for each token .  So if a player has control of a token, they will see all of their 'explored area'. Page 'Cell Width' settings can have an affect on a token's vision, especially if the 'light multiplier' is set to something other than 100%. Switch the Cell Width to '1' and see what happens. Check random other page settings, such as 'Restrict Movement'  Make sure your view is centered on a token that has vision enabled and a light source Make sure you/your players are on the correct page. Double check that they have not been split from the Party ribbon. Clear your browser cache. Clear the game chat archive.
