Exploding dice, sure... but what about multiple success faces?

Hey! So I am tinkering with a dice pool mechanic, using 5 or less as the target number. I was originally using exploding rolls. However, I'd like to try something similar, but different- rather than rolling again for a chance of a second success I would like the exploding face to be worth two successes- no re-roll. Is there a simple way of doing this? I can't see anything specific. It occurred to me that a workaround might be to keep the exploding command, but simply re-set the TN of the re-roll to <10, thus guaranteeing the second success. I'm not sure how well I've explained this so I'll summarise. I would like to roll Xd10's, counting all results of "3-5" as 1 success, rolls of "1-2" as 2 successes and all rolls higher than 5 as 0 successes. Is this possible using the basic macro commands?

This would not give you a number of successes, but might make what you want fairly easy to see and calculate. You could use the critical success and failure modifiers to set what the threshold is for coloring dice output green or red. So you could have all rolls 1-2 display green, and all rolls 5-0 display red. Then you would count any greens as 2 successes and black as single successes. If you also set it to sort ascending, then all the green dice are displayed first, followed by black, with red following after. /r 10d10cs<2cf>6sa There may be some tricky way to get twice the successes from the 1-2 rolls, but it won't be a straightforward macro. Since I don't play any games that use the "number of successes" mechanic, I am not sure how you would go about doing this outside of using the api (pro subscription perk) with something like ScriptCards.

If there are exactly 3 different results on the dice (like 0 successes, 1 success, 2 successes) you can use the failure option Roll20's failure option works with counting successes, where you normally have the dice giving 0 and 1 success, and failure gives -1 success. Then you just need to add 1 to every dice, an you get 0, 1, and 2 successes. It looks like either of thes: /roll ?{How many Dice?|1}d10<2f>6 + ?{How many Dice?} [[?{How many Dice?|1}d10<2f>6 + ?{How many Dice}]] If you want to show the 1-2 results in green, and the 6-10 in red you can add that coloring like so: /roll ?{How many Dice?|1}d10<2f>6cs<2cf>6 + ?{How many Dice?} [[?{How many Dice?|1}d10<2f>6cs<2cf>6 + ?{How many Dice?} ]] Cpunting failures is here on the wiki: https://wiki.roll20.net/Dice_Reference#Failures_.28B.2CF.29_-_fCP_2
