5E Spell save dc & spell attack not updating

For one of my characters; recently gained an item with a bonus to Spell DC/attacks, so I added the "+3" under the appropriate sections in the options tab.  The Spell DC and Spell Attack stats on the spell tab updated to what they ought to be.  Unfortunately: NONE of the attacks using the "SPELL" stat in their settings have updated to match, and adding new ones doesn't work either, nor does switching the existing spells to another stat and back again.  They all display DC 16 when they should say 19, and +8 when it should be +11, as shown on the Spells tab.

There is a longstanding issue where some spellcards show a wrong Save DC at the bottom of the spellcard when they added that in.  The way to update that to the right DC is to change the drop down on the spell page at the top from the right attribute to the wrong one, then change back to the right one.  Sometimes you have to go and hit edit/save in the top right if your sheets bugging out and not saving things.  Also if you have a manual attack for the spell instead of its default attack make sure its setup right on the first page, this is most notable with spells that you don't own that you manually enter.  

Odd: I already tried the "swap the spell to the wrong governing stat and then back again" tactic, but it didn't seem to do anything for either spell save DC or spell attack.

Try redragging the spell onto the sheet and delete the old one. If dragging doesn't work, thats likely your problem, the sheet is bugged.  This bug fixes itself over time I've never been able to directly do something to fix it.  I do however know how to avoid it 100%, never ever ever have more then one player viewing a sheet at the same time.  If you need to fix their sheet, tell them to close it first then open it on your side and edit, save, and tell them they can reopen it.  Since I started this routine drag and drop and save/edit has never broken on me.   Also if you have a backup copy of the same name on the sheet sitting in the journal OR archive, thats likely a culprit also.  

UPDATE: Repeating the "swap to the wrong stat and back again" fixed the Spell DC issue this time, but NOT the Spell Attack one.  Incredibly strange.
