Paladin Knight – Human – Marshall - Mr. Chiller Rogue Thief – High Elf - Roqar -  Roxxifarius War Priest – Human – Juan Denero –  Buddy-D Wizard (Sage/Scribe) – Drow Elf – Rolo -  Daniel M.     Whom Could Not Make It Today!   Monk – Elf – Farren Nidanas -  Bahrrenn Drakke   Game Summary for Saturday (09/25/2021):   Opening Scene: Day 81: September 10th, 6:00 am Having prepped for heading to the hidden dwarven campsite near Wave Echo Cave, also known as Phandelver Mine, the night before, the adventurers head out to the site along with the patched up Rockseeker brothers, early in the morning. The idea being to take back the dwarven mine from Nezzar, his pet spiders and Glasstaff, and the Drow elf with them.   Tree and bushes of various sizes grow along the road that gently bends a bit ahead. The trip was calm till now when a you see a bulky male human in the middle of the road, searching a dead body. He stands as soon as he notices you and block your path. "Turn back! Nothing to see here" he demands with decision and strength in the voice, reaching out with his hand to make you stop and do not move closer. Marcuria, “ No can do, sir. So happens our friends are in trouble. Not going to stand idly by and let them get killed."   Avery, “ Why are you trying to impede us, stranger"?   Lagos, “ I am searching this criminal for evidence”.   Roqar, “ We are going this way, whether you like it or not".   Marcuria, “ What's the freaking problem then? Just let us get by.....".   Juan, “Evidence for what, may I ask”?   Lagos, "That’s none of your business. I must warn you not to come closer."   Avery, "If you are going to continue to be like this, then at least explain  why ."   Lagos, “Because this area is being secured and we don't need any more visitors." Juan, “Secured from what and why”?   Marcuria, “Explain yourself. And be quick about it, buddy".   Lago, “This land now belongs to the new owners of Wave Echo cave."   Marcuria, hesitates briefly before starting to laugh, “ohhh, I get it now. You’re Nezznar’s new toadie”?   Roqar, “Well now, I'm afraid we have a big disagreement, as we are here for the former owners".   Lago, "It's none of your business who I, Lago, answer to. The pay is very good. The new owner believe things will be more profitable, if said owner is in charge."   Marcuria, "That's nice. Don't care. We're getting our friends out of there. Now, if I were you, I would look at the former merc talking to me, and realize it's in my best interest to get out of the way, get me”?   Lago, “The dwarves were made a reasonable offer. They refused. We are not going anywhere. You are now to leave”.   Marcuria, glares intensely at Lago, eyes blood-red from the magical helmet, “Nope”.   Marcuria, “What a shame. Thought you were reasonable. I see now you're itching to get your hind quarters flayed."   Juan, “Eat poop my Lago, we are not going anywhere, as Marcy said, we can be allies or mortal enemies, basically by that look”.   Roqar, “Last chance to leave and find a new job”.   Lago, “Very well. Men have at it”! Four light crossbow bolts come flying from the tree line, 30 ft above the path, aimed at Juan and Marcuria! All four arrows missed their targets!   Marcuria, “Your Funeral”!   Rolo, casts his Mage Armor spell, so that a protective magical force surrounds him.     Initiative rolls are made and Combat Round #01 begins:   Lago, tries to cast Sacred Flame cantrip at Juan, however Rolo, uses Counterspell as a reaction and the spell fails!   Marshall, casts Shield of Faith upon Juan, giving him a +2 bonus to armor class!   Ara Wrandithas, missed Juan with the light crossbow!   Avery, casts Protection from Poison upon Marcuria, she now has advantage on saving throws against poison and resistance to poison damage.   Ethlando Tratris, fires the light crossbow, hitting Marcuria for 8 + 4 poison damage and she saves against the poison to halve it twice due to the save and the spell.   Tar Deadbraid, fires the light crossbow at Marshall and missed!   Roqar, successfully moves stealthly up off the path, going 30 ft up in a spot where there is rocky subsidence, moving towards where she estimates the crossbow bolts are coming from.   Rolo, casts the Magic Missiles spell, sending four force bolts into Lago for a total 19 damage!   Juan, fires the light crossbow at Tar Deadbraid and missed!   Marcuria, activates her Rage ability and using form of the beast, grows a carapace and a beastial snout!   2 nd Attacks and Bonus Actions for Round #01:   Ara Wrandithas, missed Marshall with the light crossbow!   Avery, uses her bardic Inspiration ability and casts it upon (Marcuria?), gaining a D8 on to ability checks, attack or saving throw rolls.   Ethlando Tratris, fires the light crossbow, missing Juan!   Tar Deadbraid, fires the light crossbow, hitting Marshall for 7 + 6 poison damage after making the constitution save!     Combat Round #02:   Lago, casts the Hold Person spell upon Marshall whom rolls a wisdom saving throw of 2+ 1 from the bardic inspiration spell needing ≥ 14 and is Held in place!   Ara Wrandithas, fires the light crossbow, hitting Marcuria for 4+4 critical hit damage + 4 poison damage instead of 14 after rolling 18 on the constitution save!   Avery, casts the Lesser Restoration spell upon Marshall, and he is no longer paralyzed!   Ethlando Tratris, fires the light crossbow, hitting Juan for 7 + 18 poison damage. He failed the constitution save rolling a 10!   Tar Deadbraid, fires the light crossbow, hitting Roqar for 10 + 2 critical hit damage + 9 poison damage, after a failed constitution saving throw roll of 7!

Roqar, tries to spot an archer and just swings her magical +1 Talon long sword into the brush hoping it hits Ethlando Tratris but missed!   Sozo Dev, fires the light crossbow and missed Marshall!   Rolo, casts the Lightning Bolt spell at Lago, dealing 26 damage after a failed dexterity save of 6 needing ≥ 14!   Juan, fires the light crossbow at a disadvantage due to the archers being 30 ft above him and in cover and missed Sozo Dev!   Marcuria, uses her bite attack, dealing 10 + 7 critical hit damage to Ara Wrandithas, and recovers 6 hit points to herself!   2 nd Attacks or Bonus Actions for Round #02:   Marshall, slashed Ethlando Tratris for 14 damage with the magical +1 great sword!   Ara Wrandithas, slashed Marcuria for 5 + 3 critical hit damage with the short sword!   Juan, fires another crossbow bolt at Sozo Dev at disadvantage and missed!   Ethlando Tratris, fires the light crossbow and hits Juan for 7 + 4 poison damage after a saving throw roll of 18 needing ≥ 14!   Tar Deadbraid, missed Juan with the crossbow bolt!   3 rd Attacks or Bonus Actions for Round #02:   Marcuria, slashed Ara Wrandithas for 11 damage with the magical +1 Hew battle axe!   Marshall, slashed Ethlando Tratis for 15 damage with the +1 great sword!     Combat Round #03:   Lago, casts Command spell upon Juan, telling him to flee! However, Rolo casts the counterspell spell, dispelling its effect upon Juan!   Marshall, slashed Ethlando Tratris, with the +1 great sword, for 13 damage, defeating him!   Ara Wrandithas, slashed Marcuria with the short sword for 6 damage!   Avery, casts, Cure Wounds upon Juan, healing 10+4 hit points!   Tar Deadbraid, fires the light crossbow, hitting Juan for 11 + 6 poison damage after a successful constitution saving throw roll of 16 needing ≥ 14! Roqar, just missed Tar Deadbraid with the +1 Talon long sword!   Sozo Dev, slashed Marshall with the short sword for 9 + 4 critical hit damage!   Rolo, casts the Shadow Blade spell to create a sword of solidified gloom in his hand and moves to attack Lago, only to be caught in a ward trap that activates the Spirit Guardians spell, which calls forth evil fey spirits which surrounds Rolo! Rolo rolls a 12 on a wisdom save needing ≥ 14. The ward upon Rolo absorbs 15 of the damage while he takes 3 damage!   Juan, casts a Prayer of Healing, to heal 15 hit points upon Marshall!   Marcuria, bites Sozo Dev for 10 + 2 rage damage!   2 nd Attacks or Bonus Actions for Round #03:   Marshall, slashed Tar Deadbraid for 12 + 19 Divine Smite Damage, with the +1 great sword!   Ara Wrandithas, missed Marcuria with the short sword!   Sozo Dev, fires the light crossbow, hitting Rolo for 7 + 12 poison damage after a failed constitution saving throw roll of 5 needing ≥ 14!   Tar Deadbraid, missed Roqar with the short sword!   Marcuria, just missed Ara Wrandithas with the +1 Hew battle axe!     Combat Round #04:   Lago, casts Sacred Flame upon Rolo, whom rolls 11 needing ≥ 14 on a dexterity saving throw and takes only 2 radiant damage after Avery uses the reaction ability, Cutting Words to reduce the damage!   Marshall, slashed Tar Deadbraid with the +1 great sword for 13 + 6 Thunderous Smite damage, defeating him!   Ara Wrandithas, missed Marcuria with the short sword!   Avery, casts the Dipel Magic spell in the area of the fey spirit guardians, dispelling the guardians away!   Sozo Dev, fires the light crossbow, missing Avery!   Roqar, does an acrobatics check, rolling 11 needing ≥ 10, she is successful getting back down onto the path and slashed Lago for 13 damage!   Rolo, casts Misty Step, and teleports up to 30 ft away! Then fires a Fire Bolt cantrip at Lago, but missed!   Juan, does a full dash to get in Lago’s face and swings his +1 Dragonbane great sword, only to miss!   Marcuria, bites Ara Wrandithas for 9 + 2 rage damage, defeating her!   2 nd Attacks or Bonus Actions for Round #04:   Marshall, made an attack with the +1 greatsword with Thunderous smite but the roll did not show. As did other rolls from Sozo Dev.   Sozo Dev, missed Marcuria with the short sword! Fumbles but a dexterity save roll of 23, shows she recovers from the slip up.   Juan, slashed Lago for 7 damage with the +1 Dragonbane great sword!   Rolo, throws the shadow blade at Lago but missed!   3 rd Attacks or Bonus Actions for Round #04:   Juan, slashed Lago for 10 damage with the +1 Dragonbane great sword!   Marcuria, slashed Sozo Dev for 13 damage with the +1 Hew battle Axe!     Combat Round #05:   Lago, missed Juan, with the spiritual weapon spell!   Marshall, slashed Lago with the +1 great sword for 14 damage!   Avery, casts the Cure Wound spell upon Rolo, healing back 22 hit points!   Sozo Dev, Slashed Marcuria for 3 damage!   Roqar, slashed Lago for 9 damage with the +1 Talon long sword, defeating him!   Rolo, fires the Magic Missile spell at Sozo Dev, dealing 10 force damage!   Juan, dashes to help finish off Sozo Dev.   Marcuria, bites Sozo Dev for 11 + 2 rage damage, and heals 6 hit points back to herself!

2 nd Attacks or Bonus Actions for Round #05: Sozo Dev, slashed Marcuria with the short sword for 7 damage!   Marcuria, slashed Sozo Dev with the +1 Hew battle axe for 7 damage, defeating her!   End of Combat!   Nothing of value was found upon the wood elf archers or on Lagos. However, the remaining crossbow bolts in the quivers have poisoned tips.   The adventurers decide to rest over night before continuing onwards to the hidden dwarven campsite near Wave Echo Cave (Phandalin Mine).   Shortly after daybreak, the adventurers travel to the dwarven campsite.   The characters arrive in a small depression hidden between the hills and mountains in the area not much far from Phandalin. The location is very good because it is not very far from the Wave Echo Cave and well hidden from prying eyes. The camp is rather temporary, a sign that the dwarves are not planning to stay there long. A fence not high enough to cover an entire body, surrounds the perimeter and you see no one inside. As the adventurers start settling down at the campsite, a lone dwarf comes out of the woods dragging another one along with him!   Marshall runs over and uses his Lay on Hands ability to restore 10 hit points to the fallen dwarf, Ebroiu.   Hootaufia Taf, tells the party to cover them as they were being chased, having escaped from their mercenary camp.   Rolo, casts his Mage Armor spell upon himself, now, waiting for the adversaries to arrive.   Initiative rolls are made and Combat Round #01 begins:   Avery, casts the Heroism spell upon Marshall and Marcuria, giving them temporary hit points and immunity to being frightened.   Iberum Frojee, casts Magic Missiles upon Marcuria dealing 11 total force damage!   Hootaufia Taf, missed Zimu with the warhammer!   Marshall, slashed Zimu for 8 damage + 6 thunderous smite, with the +1 great sword!   Gheno Haisi, missed Marshall with the spear!   Zimu, slashed Hootaufia Taf with the great axe for 7 damage after Avery used the Cutting Words ability to lessen the damage by 5!   Rolo, casts Lightning Bolt, into the midst of the attackers after flanking them and Gheno Haisei, Zimu Shikhi, Flint Voidslayer and Iberum Frojee, take the full damage of 28. Piero Chiapetta, made a successful dexterity save and takes only 14 damage!   Juan, casts the Sacred Flame spell upon Iberum Frojee, who makes his dexterity saving throw, rolling 17 needing ≥ 13 and avoids taking radiant damage!   Marcuria, activates her Rage ability and chooses Claws and a Carapace as her Form of the Beast!   Roqar, just moves to get into a better position.   Flint the black axe spearman, missed Hootaufia Taf with his spear!   2 nd Attacks and Bonus Actions for Round #01:   Marshall, slashed Zimu for 10 + 4 thunderous smite with the +1 great sword!   Gheno Haisi, the black axe spearman, stabs Marcuria for 6 damage!   Zimu, slashed Hootaufia Taf with the great axe for 18 damage!   Marcuria, slashed with the claws for 6 + 2 and 9 + 2 damage to Zimu!   Flint, stabs Hootaufia Taf for 8 damage with the spear (two-handed)!   3 rd Attacks for Round #01:   Marcuria, slashed Zimu with the +1 Hew battle axe for 14 damage, defeating her!
