Despite the unwelcoming environment, the desert hides relics of a forgotten kingdom beneath its sands, too. Magically guarded temples, obscured by powerful illusion magic, conceal great wonders within their untouched corridors and chambers. A forgotten mine, once the source of the fallen kingdom’s immeasurable wealth, offers a labyrinthine path through a treacherous mountain range. And forty miles north of the desert’s southernmost edge, a great pyramid of gleaming silver stands triumphant amid the dunes. Within its bowels, a vengeful undead king seethes, anxious to wreak havoc on the world. This wasteland offers much for those who dare trek through its nearly lifeless tracts.
