Don't roll queries work with API yet?

Right now I am making them work with chat buttons but ideally I want to "make" a player send ?{example} to the chat. I have read in old posts that cannot be done, is it still not possible?

I'm not sure what you mean by "make a player send ?{example} to chat". Are you saying your want an API script to cause a query box to pop up on a player's screen as if they had issues the Roll Query themselves?  That isn't possible with the API. Chat menus with a selection of buttons to push for the options, or a chat button they click to get the Roll Query are pretty much the only options.
