Starting a new character sheet in advance

I'd like to know how to start a new character sheet outside the context of a game and then add that character to my vault. Like say you're going to be in a one-shot soon and really don't want to waste anyone's time by having to make your character during the session.

Hi Jaelin, Here are the steps to follow: Find out if this is OK with the prospective GM, and if their game supports the Character Vault . Vault Access is necessary to move characters between games with different owners. Find out which sheet the game uses. Sheets are not interchangeable. Create a game using that sheet. Create a character. Open the Character Vault outside of the game (Under the Tools menu, above). Import the character from your game. Export the character to the GM's game.
