[LFP]Looking for an Experienced Player for Investigative Fantasy game - Thursdays

The Advertisment Blurb Steam and soot darken the skies above  the city of Flint, and winds sweeping across its  majestic harbor blow the choking products of industrial  forges into the fey rainforests that dot its knife-toothed  mountains. Since the earliest ages when the people of Risur  founded this city, they feared the capricious beings  that hid in those fog-shrouded peaks, but now, as the  march of progress and the demands of national defense  turn Flint into a garden for artifice and technology, the  old faiths and rituals that kept the lurkers of the woods at  bay are being abandoned. The Unseen Court, the Great Hunt, and the many  spirits of the land long ago conquered by Risur’s kings  no longer receive tribute, but they cannot enter these  new cities of steam and steel to demand their tithe. The  impoverished workers who huddle in factory slums fear  monsters of a different breed, shadowy children of this  new urban labyrinth. Even their modern religions have  no defenses against these fiends. Times are turning. The skyseers—Risur’s folk prophets  since their homeland’s birth—witness omens in the  starry wheels of heaven, and they warn that a new age is  nigh. But what they cannot foresee, hidden beyond the  steam and soot of the night sky, is the face of this coming  era, the spirit of the next age. The zeitgeist. The Overview Im a pretty experienced GM (10+ years) looking for a experienced replavement player for a somewhat more complex game taking place in a early industrial fantasy world, with a focus on investigation. Its been running for 2+ years so if you wanted to join a long-running campaign, this is the one. The tone is pulpy, and still pretty loose with adventure and bad guys to defeat (with maybe an occasional dungeon). But unlike a normal game, your working for the government. As such you have access to more resources (and at times more responsibilities) then a avarage adventuring murderhobo.  If you like making plans, managing resources, taking charge, and dealing with dilemnas (material dilemnas as well as moral ones), this game is probably for you. Participation & Time The game happens every Thursday at 7 PM EST I have an extremly low tolerance for absenses. You must be 110% certain that your available for at least the next 3 months. 2 unexplained absenses in a row will get you booted. Characters & Systems The game uses trappings familiar to D&D or Pathfinder players (Levels, Monsters, Treasure, Classes), but doesn't use the D&D d20 system. For those familiar, its a modified Savage Worlds. If your not familiar, don't sweat, its very intuitive and Il guide you. I like it when you focus on character concepts first, and then mechanics or the like second. Sensitive Topics The game in general is PG-13 (but the players themselves are 18+), but might get rough. If your a person that is extremly sensitive, this may not be the right game.
