Two to three players needed for ongoing Masks of Nyarlathotep/ Call of Cthulhu game. The game was started back in April 2020 during Lockdown, though with the easing of restrictions and the British Summer a few months ago, combined with a quite heavy playing schedule, a couple of players left due to mounting commitments. A hiatus was in order (I quite fancied a rest too) and so the game has been rested for three months. We are proceeding on a much looser schedule as indicated below. The game uses Savage Worlds Deluxe edition rules, with sanity, magic and Cthulhu Rules from Achtung Cthulhu! It is set in 1925 with the players having just arrived in Nairobi. I attempt to be as 'real' (and historical) as possible when dealing with the non cthulhu elements - rampaging around like D and D dungeoneers would likely have realistic consequences (though it is, of course, still Pulp not gritty realism). There are now only three 'party' characters - a bookish acaedemic, a tough Private Investigator and a martial arts/ bodyguard type. New characters would be created according to the standard rules, though with an additional two starting edges (as per the old 'Pulp' rules). There are a few other minor differences.
