Greetings to you all players and the rare GMs our there. I'm (He/Him) an older player (40) having been playing TTRPGs for over 20 years now. I caught the bug playing FASA's 2nd edition Mechwarrior at 14, then moving onto Star Wars West End Games 2nd edition, to AD&D (2e), 3rd and 3.5 Edition, then a scattering of Shadowrun, Pathfinder 1e, Star Wars D20 edition until playing 5e in the last few years.
While my hope is to find the rare P2e game as I'd love to give that system a fair try to compare to 5e, I'm also open to a 5e game. Either way, if you have a campaign that is looking for players in either system that will be running after 7pm EST Monday to Thursday bi-weekly and end by midnight EST , I'd like to be taken into consideration.
As for me, pretty much from the day I read the Lord of the Rings as a young boy, I've always gravitated towards spell casters in any system they provided, though of late I'm starting to enjoy more half caster/melee hybrid/gish characters. I try to make characters that synergize well with the other members of my group and its always fun to find ways to tie backstories together to make the group more cohesive where applicable. And I tend to enjoy a good blending of RP, combat and puzzles. A good mix of all three is always a good time!
As with many I've started many a campaign but have seen many fall by the wayside due to scheduling conflicts, lack of interest or key players having to leave for various reasons. Ideally I'm hoping this group will lead to one of the few campaigns I've completed, and as an even bigger added bonus, get past level 10. Call me crazy but I would love to get the chance to play the classes into tier 3 and even tier 4 one of these days! In terms of premades, I've completed Waterdeep dragon heist, Lost Mines of Phendalver and Storm Kings Thunder. Preference would be given to modules I haven't completed and ones that potentially go into beyond level 10.
I hope this giant wall of text wasn't too much. I want to ensure you're all given a good idea of what kind of player you're looking at possibly inviting to your virtual table.
Feel free to message me it you have any further questions and I wish you all happy adventures!
