Default token size is too large when dragging from library

November 27 (3 years ago)

When I drag and drop art from the library, be it a map or token, the size is always too large.
At first I thought it was a scale problem in the map, but no, the map scale is still 1x70=5ft.
I can resize them each time but it quickly becomes a pain, and makes the prepping proccess much harder.

Note: If I drag tokens from the journal they come out fine.

  • Uploaded images will drag in at the aspect ratio of the thumbnail image in your library by default. Alt key (or Option on Mac OS) will now force 1x1 grid size on all layers aside from the Map Layer (which is 3x3 by default).

this is causing the problem.

I am still having this problem, it seems to only happen when I drag tokens out of Subfolders. They come out as just under a 3x3 grid size on a grid for some reason. Subfolders are too useful for organization and I am not going to stop using them, but resizing them every time I drag them out is somewhat annoying. Can anyone help?

If you are dragging from subfolder, you are not dragging from the Marketplace, which is the only place this info is stored. Subfolders are a feature of your personal library. If it is coming out 3x3, make sure you are not dragging to the map layer, where this is the expected behavior.
