Fog of War on Hex map deserves some tough love.

The compatibility between Fog of War and hex maps is borderline primitive in its current state. You can either reveal areas using rectangle shapes which is poorly adapted to the angular side of hexes or by using the polygon reveal which snaps to an invisible square grid, basically making it even less adapted to reveal hexes. It would greatly benefit to the hex map users to have a way to reveal maps hex by hex and/or having a tool that properly snaps to the hex map for MAXIMUM REVEAL CAPABILITIES!!! Dunno if this post will gain traction or not but it's time to MAKE HEX MAP TOOLS GREAT AGAIN!! (or at least usable for fog of war)
Agreed ... although when I use Polygon Reveal there is no grid snapping; the vertices of the polygon appear wherever I click, and I can use the tool to reveal clumps of hexes without a problem (albeit with a few more clicks than I would need if there were a reveal tool optimized for hexes). Is there some setting that causes snapping to an invisible square grid?

There are a couple existing suggestions that you might consider supporting, since suggestions don't get dev comment until 200 votes and us hex users seem to be a very small minority. The drawing tools and snapping to the hex grid exists in this suggestion: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9962368/slug%7D And there is also one to make tokens snap correctly when different sizes instead of always being centered on a hex no matter the size: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7500115/slug%7D

You are right @Sarah, it doesnt autosnaps when i'm not using alt+clicks, so we got at least this working, but it is one crazy chore to reveal a huge area while respecting the grid.
