I've
not joined an Online D&D game in a long time. Friends have started
with other groups and makes me realize I should really just search for
what I'm looking for online as I often don't mesh with other playstyles
like beer and chips. Firstly I'm
gay and really into bear men (Larger, hairy guys) so if that's something
that'd bother you in game - Totally fine to pass me over. I'm not
overly sexual, if anything the character I'll want to play is closer to
Asexual, but it is a theme that'll probably come up at some point. I'd
prefer a custom world rather than a pre-made adventure or pre-existing
setting like Faerun. I'm not ruling out pre-existing setting, but I am
ruling out pre-made adventures. The
character I want to play will be a Half-Orc Warlock of [TBD] archetype,
who succumb to the [Underdark like equivalent] and forged a pact with
the [Myconid patron] of the biomes he was researching and studying.
Reborn with a new purpose of saving Myconid life his patron reforged his
body, while still Half-orc, his hair and skin have brighter unusual
colors along with a faint bio luminescence. Play
style is very RP focused. I cherish character interaction, growth and
story development over most things. On the other hand, while I do agree
with the rule of cool, I've often seen looser gameplay mechanic groups
just hand out power causing quick imbalance to the party for features
which sound cool. I do also really enjoy combat from a wargaming
perspective and still enjoy roleplay during battle - but I do want the
tactic grid battle to be fair among the players. I'm
pretty game for any campaign theme outside of comedy/super light
hearted/beer and chips. Darker themes are fine, Horror is fine. I'm open
to discussion. I'm in EST in eastern US and am pretty flexible with playtimes currently.
