Running a classic fantasy campaign every other Sunday (7:15 EST) starting with The Sunless Citadel (converted for Pathfinder). Perfect for noobs and grognards alike. Setting is loosely based on The Lonely Coast by Creighton Broadhurst from Raging Swan Press. The Lonely Coast is the furthest flung outpost of the mighty Kronen Kingdom; frigid waters and forbidding, twisted forests separate this inhospitable land from the rest of civilization. Deep within the forest, a nameless range of rugged, tree-shrouded hills thrusts upwards. At the heart of the range, a deep gash shatters the hills. In this narrow, rock‐choked defile, lies the ruins of the once-proud fortress of an ancient dragon cult now known only as The Sunless Citadel. Characters (non-evil) start at 1st level, 20-point buy, with 2 traits (or 3 traits and 1 drawback). Take max hp and max wealth. Only Core races and classes (including Unchained and all Paizo archetypes), except there are no orcs in Kronen, therefore, no half-orcs. However, lizardfolk are acceptable (albeit, very rare and still xenophobic). This might be the first of many adventures in this setting and players are expected to help build out the world. For example, there are a few deities associated with the Lonely Coast, but we may borrow deities from Golarion or Faerûn. New players are welcomed but prefer to keep the age group 18+.
