Dear Brother Korthos was hardly a challenge, really your ineptitude is a constant source of wonderment for me. The true enemy of any successful expedition is poor planning… and corridors but no one can prepare for that sort of shit. Anyway we made our way to the Sahuagin’s lair and dove. I had my new Lizard mash with me, a trusty swimming steed but thick as mince. Anything that fond of Gimble can’t be that bright. No sooner did the party reach the entrance than we were assaulted by a giant octopus. Ulag and Sihil kept the creature busy whilst I skewered it through its inky black heart. We rested and in the morning descended into the tunnels. Unsurprisingly they were crawling with shark bastards. I tore them apart one after the other, we turned their lair red. On the hunt for air pockets, I got ahead of the party and emerged into some sort of warrior’s den. A group of them charged me at once, I wondered if this was the moment of reckoning? No, none were a match for me. The cowards attacke en masse and smote me down, but not before I rose once more, the sickly Sylander returning me from unconsciousness. Gimble joined us late humming some infernal rhyme, lolth’s legs I can’t stop hearing it… Sihil got the killing blow on their leader and we were victorious. The lizard was worse for wear and we were able to recover some prisoners, but more importantly some loot! You were right about it being profitable. I will return to Hope, I hear that Nelathrell is organising another adventure into that sinister glowing tomb in the Southern Harrowmere, I think I will test my luck once more. PS I sold mash to Gimble, I need a more suitable steed. Yours in Superiority, Thrella
Moving this date back to the 11th Uktar - to allow Thrella and Ulag to be on their quests after this but before the 20th Uktar :)

The Amazing Adventures of Gimble Nimblehands: The Korthos Saga - Sacrifices part 2 Party: Gimble - Leader, superior intellect, total package of skill and modesty, there’s no ‘I” in team but there is one in “Gimble”… Thrella - Not as nice as her brother but boy can she fight! Sylander - Dead brave! Or maybe dead, brave? Ulag the Silent - A hero of few words but stout heart and strong arm Sihil - Newcomer, honourable and brave! In the quiet docks of Gimbletown*, a small party of desperate heroes gather to once again attempt to rescue some captured prisoners. Making some final adjustments to his new helm, the majestic, heroic, and modest hero Gimble surveyed his newest team. Sullen Thrella looked as unimpressed as always as she fussed over her lizard, Mash. The sickly looking Sylander remained untouched by the coastal weather with a winter tan to shame Thrella! Stoic Ulag looked eager to return to the sahuagin hunt. The newcomer Sihil stood silently, almost as if awed to be in Gimble ’s presence (or possibly just preparing their weapons… who can tell?).   As they travelled the now familiar route, Gimble ’s directions kept Sylander on course, going past the mysterious steam pipe until they reached the cove where things went so poorly on their last visit (despite Gimble ’s heroics). Heeding the wise words of Gimble , the team stuck together as they entered the water and prepared to advance through the tunnel before danger struck! Looming out of the depths, a giant Octopus burst forth and grabbed Sihil and then Ulag . As I Gimble softened it up, Thrella managed to swim forward on Mash and slay the beast. Beaten and bloodied, the group returned to shore to recover. Gimble pointed out the rotting corpse of the bear they had slain last time and much fun was had as he recounted the story of how he had saved the party last time. In the morning, with their wounds recovered, the team finally entered the tunnels. As their eyes grew accustomed to the dark, they realised they were surrounded by sahuagin and sharks. Charging forward, Sihil carved a bloody path through them, his skill with a blade impressing even the mighty Gimble ! Ulag and Thrella combined to create a pink mist in the water as they struck down all before them. Sensing their breath giving way, several of the party rushed forward looking for escape options as Gimble investigated the bodies. Finding some useful looking trinkets, our hero looked up to realise everyone had disappeared up a tunnel. Waving cheerily as Sylander signalled to him, Gimble followed on. Spotting an exit, Gimble emerged to a scene of chaos… Thrella was covered in blood and Sylander was crouched over her seemingly tending to her wounds, meanwhile, Mash was stood attempting to protect their master ( Gimble was impressed by the steed’s bravery and loyalty), and Ulag and Sihil stood side by side with the kind of teamwork that usually takes years to perfect. All around, sahuagin filth roiled. A seemingly unending mass of blades and tridents attacking the party from all sides. Gimble burst out of the tunnel with all guns blazing. His arrival was enough to turn the tide. Thrella struggled back to her feet and smote down an attacker as Sylander healing kept the party on their feet until Sihil managed to slay the leader. As quiet descended on the place, Gimble was able to find several prisoners. While they had gained entrance, they couldn’t leave these prisoners alone and so the team escorted these poor souls back to their loved ones in Gimbletown* *Previously known as Korthos
Sylandar's Random Notes on Return to Korthos Oh... Wasn't it a while since I've last been here? Seems like once again Great Helm's will brings me to this village. Korthos (don't tell Gimble I'm using original name)... Just hearing that name somewhat makes me want to come back. But hey, we're not here for vacation. There's plenty to do before we could get that privilage. Looks like today's mission is kind of similar to the last one. Get rid of Sahuagin and cultists. Well, don't mind if I do. Today I got a quite interesting bunch to work with. I had a pleasure to work with Ulag before. Good old reliable Shield and Spear of the party. I was thrilled when I heard I'll be able to work with more of his type. Thrella is hmm... Quite an interesting persona, but seems reliable and well prepared. She even brought her swimming lizard (Mash) here! And of course small but with big heart and strong, unbendable will - Sihil cold and calculated goblin using quite an interesting blade. Oh, yeah.. Gimble's here too... He might have annoyed me at times before but to be honset, I think I missed it just a little bit. I'll try to play his game for now. i'm sure it'll be fun. With Gimble's guidance it was a piece of a cake to get to our destination with both of us being familiar with the whereabouts. Oh God and all the holy beings... I don't think anyone metioned diving as a requirement. Well, at least it's not a river. We've still stacked up before going into the water just to be safe though. It wasn't long before our little swim got interrupted. Kinda expected that... I mean... Almost... I was expecting sahuagin, not a damn GIANT OCTOPUS! Lots of splashing, hacking, grabbing and drowning later, battered, we've brought it down and immediately went back to shore to patch ourselves up before going any further. Took some time doing that and in the meantime we were treated by Sihil with a delicasy from his lands - takoyaki (just the memory of it makes me produce more saliva... and I don't even need to eat!). We spent the night ashore and as the sun rose above the horizon we've entered the cave. We didn't get far but we went in, okay? Before we got accustomed to the darkness, we were surrounded by sahuagin and sharks.  We started cutting our way through the masses of fish creatures. It took us time and I got worried for a moment but I have been calmed later seeing the resilience of our fighter types and Therlla's loyal steed. unfortunetly we were unable to clear the hole thing. We might have a little bit underestimated our mission's difficulty. We're withdrawing for now but we'll be back! May the Great Helm protect people of this land from harm until we return.
