Hello Everyone, 2021 is coming to a close. There are only a few weeks left for the 2021 game listing, so if you have a new Fate game, be sure to announce it there. This year I ran four Fate games with three separate Fate groups (so, yes, it is possible to have multiple Fate groups on Roll20). I ran*: Heroes Accelerated: IST Seattle (ongoing) Fate of the Federation (ongoing) Ghostbusters: Fate of the City (ended) Fate of the Old Kingdom (based on the  Old Kingdom books by Garth Nix ) (ended) I am also pushing forward my "planned to run" games into 2022 (hey, it's gotten shorter by one this year because I actually ran Fate of the Old Kingdom). And, surprisingly I haven't added any new games to the list: Learning to Play/GM Fate (another session or two) (on the list since 2018) Fate Star Wars:  Order 66  (on the list since 2017) Battle: Seattle (based on the movie  Battle: Los Angeles ) (on the list since 2017) Dresden Files Accelerated: The Outer Gates (based at the  Outer Gates in the Never-Never ) (on the list since 2019) Fate of Summerland (based on the  Summerland RPG ) (on the list since 2020) Twilight: Fate fo the Year 2000 (based on  Twilight: 2000 RPG  by GDW) (on the list since 2020) Fate of  Babylon 5  (on the list since 2020) Changeling: Fate of the Dreaming (based on the  Changeling: The Dreaming RPG  by White Wolf Studios) (on the list since 2020) Fate:  Morts  (Evil Hat Worlds of Adventure) (on the list since 2020) Middle Earth: Fate of the  Fourth Age  (on the list since 2020) Fate of the Borderlands (based on  Module B2: The Keep on the Borderlands ) (on the list since 2020) Fate of Earthsea (based on the  Earthsea novels by Ursula LeGuin ) (on the list since 2020) Fate: US Marine Corps Tactical Robots (based on the robots in the movie  Interstellar ) (on the list since 2020) EverFate (based on the  Everway RPG ) (on the list since 2020) Fate of Valdemar (based on the  Heralds of Valdemar books by Mercedes Lackey ) (on the list since 2020) I had a great time running Fate. We’ll see what 2022 will bring. What about you? /Matt * I did run other, non-Fate games, like Savage Worlds 50 Fathoms (ended), Good Society: The Power of a Well-Written Letter (ended), Star Wars D6: Green Squad 3 (ended). I played in a short-lived D&D 5e game that ended in a Total Party Kill in a most exciting and shocking way. I also played in a Swashbucklers of the Seven Skies game, as well as a Monster of the Week game, both excellent games run by excellent GMs.
I ran one homebrew space game that sort of stumbled to an end. It was still fun, and I learned a bunch. But the really exciting thing is I finally got to PLAY. I have wanted to play (as opposed to run) since I first bought this game, but no one I knew wanted to run, and no game here fit my schedule. At long last, I found one! It has been tremendous fun so far, and I've learned a bunch more.

Oh, it was awesome.  In my Fate group I took command at the end of 2020 and GMed a six-month campaign in Baroque Space Opera , a technologically advanced but hidebound and corrupt society.  I got a lot of use of a game-aid where I marked the Skills in rows and each player's Character in its own column to be clear on who had the best Skill for something.  I also had notes to NOT FORGET FOR ONE MINUTE any character's Aspects and Trouble. I encourage anyone to take the plunge and actually offer something as a GM; don't just coast under another GM for years. It ran great; I guessed correctly what foundations had to be worked out carefully in advance and what could be improvised.  There were some custom rules modifications in this game, but it's a great setting book.  I will consider rebooting an iteration of this game to offer it here at large. Then in the second half of the year, the main GM in the group took over again for some Burn Shift, and now our third season in an Aether Sea ongoing campaign.
