M.IV "Resurrections"

I am inspired by M.IV #TheMatrix Look for a new campaign in 2022... The group that play-tested with me in 2020 came up with some great updates and I look forward to integrating those into the new ideas spawned from watching the Matrix 4. What do you think fellow Neo-ologist and Matrix fans?

Hey Tre! As it happens, my wife and I watched the entire tetralogy on Christmas Eve, and the latest installment certainly had me wondering about the implications it might have on your game. If you’re running another mission, then count me in. Should be basically the same availability: I work m-f until a about 5 eastern, so weekends or done by 11 at the latest on a school night.

Hello Tre' Also hy Ryan,  Nice hearing from you! I saw the movie a few days ago and surely wasn't impressed. There were good aspects though. I think honestly, together we brainstormed the hell out of the concept before it was even a thing. Eheheh Way to go Tre!  I'm still not ready to join you guys since I'm currently rebuilding my apartment, but will stay in touch over here. Thank you both Ryan and Carlos for posting. I will keep this feed up to date so you can follow my progress. ~Ryan I want to do a game but I think Summer 2022 is realistic unless something pops before then. I imagine character creation and game prep can happen before then. I will do it here on Roll20 so everyone can follow along. Honestly I am people powered so the more interest I get in the Matrix RPG project the more likely I am to make it a priority before summer. ~Carlos I understand your feelings. I am an addict for the Matrix so I am all-aboard the Lana train. The Matrix is and always has been more than the movies. Not sure how many people know that the matrix was meant to be told on screen, in comic books, and as a game (Matrix Online not this RPG). When I take all that into account I think M.IV has something for everyone. What I hope the movie did is re-ignite the interest of the masses to investigate that age old question... "What is the Matrix?" Our sessions to Re-Imagine the matrix worked! Pat yourselves on the back because we are in the movie. They had an AI human city. When we played that as Cleaveland back in the LUG Con days people cried bloody murder. I think we are on to something. The last mission we did had a ladybug "Sentient" that could broadcast a human into the matrix. THAT'S ONE FOR US! Just take what you like and leave the rest...&nbsp; Oh and if you didn't know I got into the Matrix NFTs. There will be missions for the NFTs to make choices that count. Tre,&nbsp; Totally agree with you, and since I'm also a Matrixhead Il do the same. It's absolutely clear that WB is refranxising the franchise, much like what was prophecised in Ready Player One,where the Matrix had a room of its own etc. It will probably become a new 'Fortnicht' kind of thing and will cash aton. Gladly we are on the creative side of the things and not just being mind harvested. Thanks to you my friend!&nbsp;
