Hey all, I hope you're having a great day/evening! I don't know if there's a proper format for this, so I apologize if this isn't the right way to look. I'm an avid D&D enthusiast who has been playing since 3.5e, and for the entirety of 5e, the latter being my preference. More about me at the end of the post. For the past few years, I've had a fairly stable group of players with a great GM who is also a close friend of mine. Since the pandemic, he's had a change of jobs, and now his workload has exploded to 12hr per day, 6 days a week, sometimes without weekends. Our 3-year-long campaign's sessions have become quite infrequent; we often go months without playing. I don't know where else to look for a new group, since I met most of my original group in real life years ago, so I'm posting here. If you're a group of players looking for a player, please let me know. I'd be happy to join. Preferences: - No paid GMs. - Chill, cozy group. - Players can be experienced or beginners, as long as they don't metagame. - One session every week or every two weeks. - No preference in terms of combat vs. roleplay frequency. I enjoy both. - I don't mind joining a running or high-level campaign. - I don't mind homebrew that isn't unfair one way or the other. - Party size doesn't matter. About me: I'm an easygoing medical professional (was clinical, now academic) and I love animals, video games, and D&D. I also speak Arabic, if that matters.
