Yo! My name is Alan and I'm looking for 3-4 players to play in a 4 month campaign that takes place every Sunday from either 5PM or 7PM CST. [May or may not be extended or shorten, up to Players and DM discretion] New Player Friendly and Experienced Players are welcomed! Although, It is preferred if you are 17+ in age; This campaign will not have adult themes but have some explicit or implied suggestions. The expectation is that we will all be adults at this table, and treat each other with respect and a level of maturity. If you cannot control yourself, you will be asked or removed from the party. [Though you probably are a pretty cool gal or guy, so no worries right?] This campaign will be set in my Homebrew continent of Gaea, which is a relatively high fantasy world with many cultural references. This world is inspired by many stories and other classical stereotypes, if you see something from a series you know just give me a smile and nod. [We dont want other party members to be ruined by the surprise, right? ;) ] It will also be accompanied by some House Rules , they will be discussed at a later Session 0, but know they are all added to develope a sense of realism to the game. [Gritty Realism and other additions] I'd prefer if you'd like to roleplay, by no means do I expect this to be your strong point. Please be prepared to discuss in character, however. Your character and backstory are all yours to decide, but we will discuss what each players circumstances are within a Session 0. If you are a new player, no worries! It's more important that you feel comfortable and willing to discuss at the table then know of any other rules or themes of fantasy. As a disclaimer, this is supposed to be a casual and fun experience in a realistic world with the expectations that we will all be playing in character. While some video game or other cultural elements may make appearances here and there. Know that I've been playing D&D for awhile now but I am by no means a professional. I run the game how I believe everyone can have the most amount of fun. With that said, I don't know every rule set in 5e or I may purposely ignore some parts of D&D's mechanics or lore from Wizards of the Coast and extend this respect to you as well. Please post any questions or directly message me to apply. I will be accepting players after a brief interview on a first come first serve basis. The campaign will not begin until all seats are filled and a Session 0 has been started on the closest Sunday of that week. [If you reply here in the discussion, you should see a DM from me shortly. I'll update this discussion post as I accept more adventurers.] I'm looking forward to meeting you!
