I'M COMING
Ayla and I are in!
Im in
I’ll be there hopefully
15th Uktar Dear Sister, I write with a favour to ask. I have joined the hunt for Ragemaw and have set out with Tordak the Barbarian, Reza a Cleric of Azuth, Sabrina the sinister Sorceress, Sairina her well-armoured sister, the Grung monk Frougal and Red Beck another Sorcerer who is clearly quite insane As you will be aware our quarry is deadly, and our success is by no means assured. Even the journey is proving trepidatious. Upon the road, we came across three vicious basilisk’s intent on petrifying and consuming us. No doubt these creatures originated from the den in the Harrowmere. Fortunately, we prevailed without serious casualties, although Tordak’s scaleshrike was torn apart by one of the hungry lizards. Bangers remains a doughty steed! As we pursued the trail westward, we rested for the evening, I found out that Tordak had come into possession of some Kobold designed flying contraption. I confess I am sceptical whether it will bear results, but I am very keen to see whether there is any success, particularly if Ragemaw chooses to remain airborne. Although I can’t help but feel the poor dwarf is hellbent on meeting his maker? The Cleric Reza has requested my tutelage in some of the particulars of wizardry. Given his interest in the worship of Azuth he is a very curious creature, of course, I offered my services, it never hurts to have a cleric in your debt when you are pursuing a Dragon… We set out once more on the road tracking southwest to Ragemaw’s purported lair. Upon resting for the evening, we were attacked by a barrage of crab-like constructs led by a goblin shaman pretending to be Ragemaw. The battle had some alarming moments. Red Beck tried to catapult Frougal into one of the crabs and Tordak’s flying machine fell apart at the first opportunity. Fortunately, our combined efforts brought creatures down and crushed the sinister contraptions. I managed to paralyze the goblin shaman and Sairina was able to cut him down before he escaped the fight. Hopefully, this will limit any warning of our advance. Also, something strange happened to Red Beck. He had got himself into a tussle behind some of the tents with one of the Crabs, I heard incantations several bright flashes and at the culmination of the fight, we saw what happened to the poor creature. His head had become entirely translucent! It seemed to confer no ill effect, but it was bloody disgusting! We continue on our hunt for the dragon. This brings me to my favour, I am in dire need of you to return to Korthos and assist Sir Gimble in his efforts to rescue the missing townsfolk. The money is handsome, and your tactical aptitude will be in high demand! How better to win back Lolth’s favour than killing the hated Sahuagin? Ever Your Humble Servant and Brother Uriel Ka’Vorrin
Love it!

Tordak is probably sadly trying to repair his flying rig (maybe using the thread from his (totally not fake) amulet to Kayaasit) when he sees his old friend!! Would be cool to have you along!!
With the new travel rules shortening the trip and y'all knowing the location, are any of you due a level up if you return to town?
IF the group returns to town and IF they are happy to delay depature a little I'm sure some of the Rumour  Has It crew would be keen to join, especially those like Glaurung, Gigi and Larry who were 'rolled' by Ragemaw a couple of times.   Only assuming the original 7 can't all make it on this date of course.

Uriel’s Correspondence Dear Sister, My quest to kill the dragon Ragemaw continues. Following our battle with the mechanical crabs we rested once more. Tordak kindly lent me some of his dolphin oil, but not before he revealed himself as the one who cleared Goldar’s stock out in the first place! Swine!  Apparently the sisters Sabrina and Sairina have some sort of bet, ten percent of the treasure for whoever gets the killing blow. I will gladly take that action, that will show that showboating Sorceress! Too good for spellbooks is it? Ha, we will soon see who is laughing when the dragon is dead and I am standing on a massive pile of gold! Sadly Reza and Frougal had to leave us, but in the their place we were joined by two clerics of the Moon Goddess Kayasit, whilst I doubt you would approve we certainly welcomed their help. The elder priest was a Trollkin named Arnulf. Apparently an old acquaintance of Tordak he seemed to believe his deceased brother Lippy had accompanied him? Sairina seemed concerned about this. But I saw no need to disabuse the poor fellow. Iarna an apprentice, accompanied him, very tall, and despite inexperience she proved very effective. As a side note Red Beck’s head remained transparent, although this didn’t seem to trouble him. Can’t let him win the bet, he’d just spend it all on new egg companions. Well no sooner had we reached Rogmaw’s castle, can’t be right, than we were ambushed by a troupe of goblin boar riders. They were led by a massive hog, the size of a small house! We dispatched them, naturally, but poor Tordak got viciously gored several times. His luck did not improve that day. Sairina tried to pick the lock to the front entrance but it seems her skill set is more like yours sister, brute force adjacent. Breaking through the door we were hit by an ambush! Shit Wizards! Or to refer to them properly, Gastronmancers. Fiendish Goblins who decided that the best way to deploy their magical gift was to manipulate putrid feculence. The battle was… strange. Both Sairina and Tordak rushed in the front. It seems that upon death some of these filth bastards would erupt! Several explosions wracked the building and upon entering we cleared up the rest of them. One of the goblins had lobbed acid at Tordak, poor bastard he was not looking pretty, hair looked good though! We persevered on through the keep and came across a shrine to Mystra, which is a little odd for a Dragons lair? We made our way through a courtyard and into an unassuming room to the east. Sairina asked me to investigate a cupboard and upon doing so I found a finely crafted wand. Alas upon gripping the shaft it went off, revealing a sentient lightning bolt! Worse was soon to come, after nearly being electrocuted we were ambushed by sentient spell constructs. Turns out spells were not as effective as I might have hoped, every time we tried to cast it healed the bastards. Tordak and Sairina were able to put them down but we were all looking worse for wear. The wand seems to still work though, so there is that… Part II to follow
Hahahahaha - we're so good at this D&D stuff :D
