Hello all! The slots are now open again for my Persona RPG! What is Persona RPG? Persona RPG is a inspiration and story continuation from a fan's perspective after Persona 5 Strikers lore. Persona is a subseries of Atlus' Shin Megami Tensei which became popular due to the appearance of Persona 3 as it skyrocketed during Persona 5's rise in glory. You are normal high school students, involved in a fate of destiny that allows you to summon Personas, the power of the heart and wielder of mythology gods at your disposals. Not just one persona, but you all have the ability to summon multiple personas which is called the "Wild Card". Novilium Characters will be limited to one persona (check details below). In this session, you'll be discovering a story of truth, lies, betrayal & trust in a visual novel inspired format. The main antagonist in this story is Cain, a malicious & devious god who seeks to make the main characters in his Godslayers; people can who destroy the gods & create a new world. Cain's reason for doing so, is unknown and it's up to you to figure out the truth in all of this. Explore modern-day Japan as your alignment; Law, Neutral and Chaos will decide the fate for this story. What's the current story like? The world now knows about Personas due to a chaotic experiment in an event called the "Evan's Calamity" in Tokyo. Everywhere is now a Metaverse field, meaning the reality of the world is abruptly changed. The Japan Union are now ordering an isolation lockdown in the Tokyo Area to prevent Persona Users to awaken other non-persona users and to keep Shadows, the enemy of mankind, from killing innocent humans. However, the Japan Union are conducting evil experiments behind the eyes of the public to "advance" evolution. There are some in the Japan Union who wishes to keep civilians & order safe; and there are others who seek to use people for absurd scientific advancement. Because of the Japan Union's action, a resistance movement called "The Tokyo Rebellion" formed. The Tokyo Rebellion sole purpose is to dethrone the Prime Minister of Japan and become it's new leader. Due to our player's choices, they were unable to stop the armed resistance, allow them to recruit and inspire victims of the Japan Union, causing the Tokyo Rebellion to be known as the United States of Japan.... Meanwhile, another group of players are in an abandoned world called Firma. The world Firma was part of Japan, before a malevolent unknown God in the past, separated the two because Firma was infested with Shadows. The world Terra is basically Earth as Firma is the "Shadow" version of Earth, banished and lost to another dimension. The people of Firma, filled with anger and vengeance in their hearts, seeks to destroy Terra by using the Lance of Babylon, a artificial weapon that seeks to destroy worlds from another dimension.... This story also entails the continuation of my New Game + players, who are seeking to re-do the events again and seeking a better ending than before. They want to save the lives of important characters who were lost during the battles & war in the past. With another chance in their hands, the group broke the Crystal Of Time in order to travel back to the past to obtain the World Arcana that was lost to them before... The story is now left up to all of you... What does this session entail? Battle Mechanics similar to SMT series, such as Fire, Ice, Wind & Electric to expose enemies' weakness to do All Out Attacks and Baton Passes. This is all Homebrew Mechanics, related to Persona series! So you will be familiar with the mechanics you see here. We're all nice people, we'll teach you all everything. Meet familiar characters who are now supporting characters such as Tatsuya Suou & Maya Amano from Persona 2, The Investigation Team in Persona 4 and even the famous Phantom Thieves of Heart in Persona 5. Social Links are the embodiment of power! Socialize with your friends, acquaintances and gain new personas & power that will help you strengthen your heart! LOTS AND LOTS of happy, sad, heroic moments and inspirational jukebox music I will be playing. I will always do my best to tell you all a wonderful story. How many players are there? We currently have 18 players, seeking to fill the last 4 to 6 remaining spots! I do humbly respect my player's daily duties in real life so my last three players merely left because of jobs, school, health problems and family reasons! If you do decide to leave the session, do not fret! Your character will be a minor supporting character. Also, do note we are separated with Story Routes! I need a number of people in these story routes: Godslayer Route This is the default route of the story as the route did split due to decisions & actions of our players. Godslayer will be combined with veterans players on previous timelines and new players of this timeline. The main setting is Japan & Firma. They follow a story of: The devious God known as Cain who seeks to strengthen his Godslayers, which is you, the main characters Advent Salvation, a group of equality seekers who wish to co-exist with tamed Shadows & Human Forsaken, a vengeance seeking group who seeks destruction of the real world, Terra Worldslayer, a group of lost souls and former players who are now crazed in destroying the world Steinberg, a mysterious scientist who is known as a "Stargazer". Violet Seong, the daughter of Chronos, the God of Time who is currently a psychopath due to her "awareness" of the events of before Lavender, an unknown girl who is related to Chronos. Right now, I need one player for this session route. Mystery of the Past This is the second group of the series that is following traces of history of the certain individuals. The main setting is in Japan. Think of this as a Persona 4 Plot, where they must find the cause of all the problems laid before them. They follow a story of: Team Fenrir, an elite taskforce group led by Saburo Kururugi who seeks peace & order throughout Japan. Tokyo Rebellion, now known as the United States of Japan, are a successful resistance group who succeeded in the occupation of Tokyo and spreading through out provinces and cities. Worldslayer, a group of lost souls and former players who are now crazed in destroying the world. MOTP characters will be focusing on these due to how New Game + players will have difficulty fighting their former friends... The devious God known as Cain who seeks to strengthen his Godslayers, which is you, the main characters. Right now, I need one player for this session route. Novilium This group introduces a new enemy and reveals how the Moon has been habitable for many centuries. The main setting is the Moon itself, against the enemy known as the Apostles of the Stars who seeks to test a New Game + character, Hana Senshi to see if she can break her limits. The story follows: Apostles of the Stars, a group who manipulates a god of control who is quite similar to Persona's previous antagonist, Yaldabaoth and Nyarlathotep. The Moon is ruled by the main antagonist, Hikari. Steinberg, a mysterious scientist who is known as a "Stargazer" who sends Hana to the Moon to fight against a group who threatens Terra. Right now, I need two player for this session route. Note: You are not a Wild Card user in this fight, but you will gain other super abilities instead. This route will make Hana Senshi the main character and any incoming players will wield only one persona. A World I Do (Not) Live In This is the final route and for my three dedicated New Game + players who seeks to support Godslayer & MOTP Route. This group's sole purpose is to support all the routes, except for Novilium. This group will put you into the hardest boss battles but you will not be at a disadvantage. The story follows: Lavender, a mysterious individual who's connected to Chronos and acts as the leader for the group. Worldslayer, a group of former Godslayers and allies who are now turned into bloodthirst, emotionless killers who is bent on destroying the world. Umbra, a new evolution of Shadows who are the manifestion of their former human self. Right now, I need two players for this session route. What is the time availability and is it Pay to Play? I usually do the sessions Friday & Saturday at night in a Pacific Daytime Zone; PDT. I usually start at 10PM to 2AM but I will do other times depending on my workplace. (I can change scheduling times so just giving me a week notice will help.) And with the amount of work, commission art and slides I put in, I will have to charge my players by chapters. This is a pay per chapter meaning: Example: A chapter is $1000, but each player can pay $55 each or someone can pay for someone else which is also an option. Example 2: After the boss fight, the chapter is around $700 dollars; the story will not proceed until the amount is paid How are you managing a 20+ player session? Aren't you tired? That's the secret guys. I'm always tired. Hahahahaha But do be warned, your sessions may be once every 3 weeks or so. If I do have free-time, I will definitely do 2 sessions per week to give everyone more time. I do have the options of letting my CO-GMs do your social events.
