Just did a dark web search for my data, and the only breech came from Roll20. It appears on the dark web my name and password were up for grabs. Naturally, I changed it, but I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this in recent days.
I believe there was a "breach" reported a few years back. https://blog.roll20.net/posts/conclusion-of-2018-data-breach-investigation/
Ash Whitewood said: I'm aware of the breach in 2018, this was in the last couple days. If you haven't already done so, I would suggest contacting roll20 ASAP. team@roll20.net
Andrew R. said: You may want to let Have I Been Owned know too. That's where I go for compromise knowledge rather than the dark web itself. Thanks for the info! I just checked them. It seems I was just recently made aware that my info was leaked in 2018. Silly me. False alarm people!
Excellent! You can Have I Been Pwned up to email you when your address or domain appears in new data sources. I did this for my previous job so I was ahead of the staff in knowing. ;)
