how to apply token default setting?

In the game default setting, the token  default settings  have been changed to allow players to view and edit both, but they do not apply. So I had to go into the settings of all tokens and give them editing rights. Isn't the token created before changing the setting applicable?

Changing the default settings from the settings menu accessed from the game details/launch page will not change all your tokens or maps that currently exist, but will affect anything created after that change.  If you want to apply those settings to everything that already exists in your game, there is a button in the in-game settings to apply the default settings.  It should be in the bottom category in the settings tab.

Note also that this will convert all tokens currently deployed, but will have no effect on saved default tokens.
