Do you like Modern D20's Urban Arcana? Tim Power's novel Last Call? How about Dimension 20's "The Unsleeping City"? Or even Ocean's Eleven? Aasimar gangsters war with Leprechaun bookies, vampire-led biker gangs roam the bad lands serving an unholy master, shaolin masters quest for artifacts as dangerous as plutonium, trickster card sharks play it fast and loose with Greys from Area 51, neon-prophets and pack-rat-bards deal out boozy, backroom wisdom, all under the ever-present threat of nuclear Armageddon from the 'mundane' world. Welcome to Mythic Fifties Las Vegas, baby! My game is looking for one more player to make the party 'four of a kind'. We meet on Sundays at 5:30 EST and run until 8:30. I run a RP-heavy game, where PCs are warned that they make charisma a dump stat at their own risk. After all, you don't want to look like a fool in front of Frankie, Deano, or Sammy, do you? There is combat, and although it is becoming more common, it is still less frequent than your average game. The system is very much 5e. Play whatever you want out of the PHB or other Wizard's supplements. As the DM I work with you to re-skin your character appropriately (You have a short bow? It's now a pistol. Plate armor for your Paladin? Let's call that your Lucky Gambler's Vest. Etc.) I invite - nay, encourage!! - players to be as creative as they would like to be with their PCs. IMPORTANT: This game is very much rated (hard) R, no one under 18 admitted without an adult; there is violence, sexual situations, and adult content. None of these are overly explicit in nature. It is very much worth noting that we do go into some of the less savory issues of the day, such as racism, bigotry, and sexism. We do our best to handle these topics with the utmost sensitivity, and the game is 100% inclusive as am I and all the players. DM me with any concerns you may have.
