I have no idea how to begin

Im looking for a game today so I can learn how to play. If someone could find it in their heart to give me some guidance, I would be extremely grateful.

You may want to look at joining one of the Discord servers which brings together a community of DMs and players to play oneshots, short campaigns, etc. depending on what individual DMs want to run and when. I belong to one which regularly hosts teaching oneshots for beginners to sign up to, and also has channels for asking questions, building characters etc. I can’t put the link here due to site rules but feel free to PM me if you want it.

You can use the dropdown menu from the top to navigate to GAMES.  And then scroll down to JOIN A GAME. If you click on that, it will take you to the game finder where you can search through the active games that are currently looking for players.  Just look out for the "Pay-Me DMs" as they will circle around you.
