DM looking for group. In GMT

Right, so I am well mostly a DM that wants to play with a regular group. I would prefer Runequest 6, Star wars D6, Shadowrun 3:e or well... anything but those three systems I know by heart and do not need a book at all, for other games I need to read a bit before I start the campaign. I own around... 35m of roleplaying books and I am not a big fan of games with levels in them since I do not like the character progression at all, but I can be presuaded if enough people want Pathfinder, D&D 3.5 or something along those lines. I can play Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Weekdays between 17:00-00:00 GMT and weekends almost all day if so would be desired. I would rather have a small but consistent group then a large one where people come and go. I have one campaign up now https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/105409/terra-the-proud-city-of-vinci that people are more then welcome to join if they so wish or you can write here and we can work something out. I will use skype when playing since I will only do games with a mic and since I have had some issues with the built in one and the google hangout I will use skype and this unfortunately is not negotiable. Best Regards.... Spider Jerusalem or if you prefer Maximus.
I have never played any of those systems (ok, played Star Wars d6 on a convention once), but have wanted to try Shadowrun for ages, so I'd be up for that. I know nothing about Runequest, but I'll look it up when I have the time. I have played a lot of 3.5 and PF and would really like to try something new, but if others want to play those games I can too (Pathfinder at least). I am GMT +1 (or, I guess GMT +2 now with daylight saving times...), and is currently only available on Sundays, maybe Tuesdays. I'm curious about what you mean by "do not like the character progression at all", do you mean only level-based progression or character progression at all? Have mic and skype.
I'd be interested in the Star Wars D6 primarily, but on weekdays I can only really do 6pm-11pm or so.
"I am not a big fan of games with levels in them since I do not like the character progression at all" Means that I do not like the step like character progression that levels gives. You are one level then suddenly you are so much better. I prefer a system where you slowly get better instead of sudden big jumps.
Then we are in perfect agreement in terms of progression.
I am glad to hear it. Shadowrun is a fun game or well all games are as fun as you make them, but I do like Shadowrun even if it has a few flaws. If there are others that are interested in that I could set up a game for it.
Never played it, but would be up for giving it a go too.
If you end up running a game of Runequest, I'd be highly interested. Been wanting to play RQ for years now.
Currently (as I type this) setting up a 'trial run' to teach myself how to GM BRP in Roll20. Been a BRP/DragonQuest GM for way too many years. I have played Runequest and Call of Cthulhu too. Most of the mechanics of BRP are pretty similar to RQ and CoC. I am GMT and might be interested in RQ but not Thurs or Fri evenings or most Saturday afternoons (these clash with other long standing face-to-face gaming groups). Do you play Gloriantha settings or something else?
I'd definitely be interested in a game. Shadowrun 3 e isn't really my kettle of fish, however - I prefer 4, but each to their own - and I'm really not sufficiently into SW for it to work. While not having tried it, however, I am certainly interested in giving RQ a try. Beyond those, I'd enjoy... Well, I believe the usual list I post is: Ars Magica, Call of Cthulhu, CthulhuTech, Dark Heresy, Don't Rest Your Head, GURPS, In Nomine, Nobilis, Only War, Paranoia, Rogue Trader and Warhammer Fantasy. So yeah. I'm not all that fussy, and I'm sure I'd be able to pick up SR3 and SWd6 with minimal trouble, too. I can, as it happens, make exactly the same times as you, which I think is pretty damned handy for me. Please don't be a sleep deprived hallucination, - Iroel EDIT: Okay, after writing this post, I decided to set myself down with the RuneQuest 6 rules, just in case a campaign with that got started, and I had a chance to join in. Please allow me to upgrade my status from 'Interested' to 'Positively ecstatic at the thought'.
Runequest 6 is really good, out of all fantasy gams I have tried this is the one I enjoy the most, its dynamic, open for players to make what character they like and the rules are really nice. Poisons are a bit to good at times but its really nice.
I'm interested in a d6 system as well, but of those listed I only have experience with Shadowrun. Thats not to say I prefer that one, in fact I would prefer Runequest or Star Wars from the sound of them. I have about 300 hours of Pathfinder clocked on Roll20 over the last year so I am familiar with both the game genre and the medium on which we'll play. I'm in the CST timezone but the times you listed work well for me. Tyler M as seen above has been a DM for me in the past and can vouch for my regular punctual attendance. I hope you'll take the above into consideration when you decide who to bring on for your game.
