[LFG] [D&D] [5E] [GMT] Looking to find a group and DM to play with

Heya Happy to use Discord and join a group. Not got much experience other than running a largely home brew campaign for my fiancée and myself - so I don’t know a lot of standard content or even maybe basic rules I guess. Played some DnD in little bits here and there but nothing major or long running (and too long ago that I don't remember the details too well). I’m in the UK so GMT (or BST eventually); looking to play during mornings on weekdays, around 9 or 10am-ish. Weekly preferably but can do more or less frequently if needed, just not weekends Happy to play with different varieties of groups. Just looking to get into DND properly and get more used to game Any and all suggestions are helpful

Hey Lady and Gent, Find a group yet? I posted my own add looking for players: Long Time DM having at least dabbled in just about all TTRPGs out there but mostly focused on D&D in all it's holy (and unholy: looking at you D&D 4E) incarnations. Currently using a blend of D&D5e and what I find to be the best rules out there (focusing on fast exciting games and ease of play, so don't let the house rules discourage you).  Good ideas, good vibes and having an all-around good time is what I value. Vecna's new gift, i.e. Covid, having wrecked havoc and let loose the hounds of hell on my last campaign (with the exception of a long time friend), I find myself looking for new players. Epicness, fantasy and wicked cool stories are on the menu. Enter at your own risk ... of having fun. Ye have been warned brave adventurer! ;) PS: I also speak French (oui oui) & Spanish (sí sí). PPS: I am EST at the moment, but my job allows me to have flexible hours/days. PPPS: my campaign style is more on the mature side as I enjoy complex characters and storylines, and those often include mature themes.

Sounds really good Happy to have a more in-depth and mature stories/themes. What hours and days were you hoping to play? And do you want premise modules or some home written adventures? Either is fine with me so long as there is room for player involvement  I imagine COVID has done a bad number to a lot gaming groups. Im sorry to hear that your group has struggled with it.
